This was the first ring light I’ve ever purchased, and overall it has worked really well. The light itself is great—I love the different color and brightness options, which make it easy to adjust depending on what you’re using it for. Once everything is set up, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. My only real negative is that there are a lot of small parts that completely unscrew when adjusting the phone holder or changing positions. If you misplace even one small piece, the setup can become basically unusable. My advice: keep a small baggie or container for the parts when you take it apart or store it. Overall, it’s a solid ring light, especially for a first-time buyer. As long as you’re careful with the small pieces, it’s a great value and works well.

Good tripod and pretty nice light especially for the price. It's fairly bright, but not professional quality. For professional lighting you will usually spend in the hundreds, so again for the price this is a good product. Pretty easy to setup, functionally easy to use and looks sturdy.

I love how it is fast it is to set up, the quality is great and the brightness isn’t bad. It lights up really well in fact. More for the upper half of the body though not a full coverage. I do wish it didn’t close up as easy and there was some sort of thing to lock the center part in place.

What I love most about this product is the three legged tripod. It’s sturdy and has many height variations. The remote is also a handy feature and works great. The only complaint I have, and I’m wondering if it’s just me not knowing how to do it, is that the feature that allows the camera to tilt up and down seems to only go in one direction and the direction it tilts, is the incorrect direction. For example, if I want to record something I’m doing on my counter top and have the camera and light tilt down towards the counter, I can’t do that because it titles backward only. So the side of the ring light that doesn’t have light, is the side that tilts downward. I haven’t taken the time to really investigate this feature so it could just be me doing something wrong but look into it before buying.
