My German Shepherd can't go anywhere without her float toy. Husband accidentally threw one up into a tree and our dog stayed under that tree forever waiting for it to come down (it's still there) and she checks to see if it's still there every time she goes outside. We used one recently on a camping trip for her swimming exercise. It floats on top for her to keep her eye on it and it's very easy for her to retrieve and swim with. Going to order more to keep in camper and other vehicles so we always have one with us when we travel!

It took our 2 YO male Vizsla less than 8 hours to fixate on and gnaw off the end-stump where the rope attaches, exposing the bumper interior and making it float-less, and making it impossible to have a rope attached. Pity, because it looked like a good design. Perhaps, if the rope-end of the bumper were solid (not hollow), fatter (less easy to be gnawed), and more cylindrical (instead of rectangular) , the rope-end would be sufficiently resistant to gnawing and keep the rope-end intact.BTW, gnawing of the end yielded small pieces of plastic that some dogs might swallow and be harmed.

I hate to write negative reviews about an item but I am not happy with this dog toy. Within 15 minutes of using it our puppy chewed a hole in the plastic. Therefore the toy sunk to the bottom of the pool so we had to throw it out. We still have the other toy but I feel like I have to watch our dogs every second to make sure one of them is not chewing it.It might be my fault for not reading the specifics about the item but I thought it was made of more durable plastic.

The media could not be loaded.  These float great, and my dog had fun retrieving them. They are a little bigger than I thought, but we had no issues with our 55 lb dog grabbing them. I like that they are red and orange so they show up in water well. I like the nubs and rope attachment for more grip and retrieving opportunities.

Our puppy LOVES to retrieve and LOVES to carry her toy, but she is also an extremely aggressive chewer and can destroy anything in minutes. These have been amazing for our park time and have lasted several weeks already with no signs of falling apart.

As long as you don't let your dog run of an gnaw on it for a few minutes it's a great distraction for hyper standard poodles who love water but don't know what to do when they get in the pool. He focused on retrieving toy and dropped it back in when he wanted to come retrieve it. When he took off and chewed on it, it shredded into small dangerous pieces quickly.

These are wonderful. My belgian malinois and also german shep have not destroyed this at all. Jaws of steel, nothing ever gets passed my german shep. Not even toys they say cant be destroyed. Red kongs are with this guy! So this is a super hit at pool time with two addicted pool dogs! Not one hole puncture

Didnt last an hour. Might be ok for a dog who doesnt chew but my cattle dog tore them up in one evening. Arrived yesterday. Trash today. These worked great in the water but it only took him a few minutes on land to destroy them.

I didn't give as a chewy ! 3 throws into the pool , 2 teeth punchers now they sink.
