I learned technical analysis over 15 years ago, but I'm just now diving into the world of options trading. The Tao of Trading has been a phenomenal guide in helping me make that transition. Whether you're trading options, stocks, forex, or anything else, this book has something valuable for you.What stood out to me most is how the author dials in a conservative and practical approach—not only to technical analysis, but to options trading as well. It's not about hype or high-risk bets; it's about smart setups, sound risk management, and consistent discipline.On top of the technical strategies, the book also addresses the mental game of trading, which is so often overlooked. The way it breaks down emotion vs. analysis really hit home and helped me think more clearly about my own decision-making.Highly recommend it for traders at any stage—especially if you're looking to build a solid, repeatable process with your trading.

One of the best investing books that I have read. He covers all of the necessary topics and many of his ideas and suggestions agree with other authors who I have confidence with their opinions. This is the book I will give to my friends when they ask me to teach them about stock investing and I have been an investor for over 50 years.

Easy to read. The strategy provided in the book is safe to be applied in the market. In a trending market, this strategy will be profitable. Can be applied with Options or just stock.

I’ve been practicing trading for several months, while studying hard for several hours nearly every day. The more I studied and practiced the more confused I became - i.e. “that trade should have worked!” I also found myself occasionally getting discouraged with the fact that the more I learned the more daunting trading became and the more I really didn’t know. Anyway, this book was like a breath of fresh air, it basically took everything I’ve learned and organized it into a process that just makes sense, I had a major “ah ha!” moment while reading this book and was finally able to formulate a clear working strategy. This book is geared towards Options trading, which is not where I was planning on heading but I still found a lot of valuable information.Couple of feedback for the author. In the book the readers are encouraged to find additional tools and information by going to the /bookbonus website (several times the book says it would be free). However, when I go there they require a sign up, which I did but there’s nothing free there, I was unable to find the materials, there were several learn more buttons only to be greeted with program info payment options. The /bookbonus page seemed more of a gateway to pay for additional stuff. However, the bonus stuff were not crucial in my opinion.

This is an incredible book. I have been on the trading journey for about a year and have read fifteen or sixteen books in that time. The Tao of Trading led me to look at charts differently, with the importance of the mean, the connection with Fibonacci, and an easy-to-understand options swing trading strategy. The book is a fun read with a ton of information for any trader, regardless of where they are on their journey.

I’ve been trading options for 3 years and have traded low entry forex independently for my first 2 years so 5 years trading in total, Nonetheless THIS!!! Is the information needed i love how the author identifies the major variables that either are a traders greatest friends or biggest enemies from fundamental, technicals, trends and even news cycles this information can be hard to decipher due to the constant access of information and fake professionals but this author will guide beginners, intermediate and even offers a perspective for the advanced already profitable. Thank you for the perspective and offering this book filled with your expertise!

This is an excellent book with very clear explanations regarding trading and the stock market. Very informative. It is easy to follow, not dry or dull. Good for a beginner or someone who has been trading for awhile but wants to up their game.
