Can see clock at night
I really like this clock. I placed it across the room so that if I wake up in the middle of the night, I can lift my head and see the time, and go back to sleep, or not. I like seeing what day it is.

Did the job!
Liked the clock for my parents that both have dimentia. I actually wish it was a little bit more spread out for them. But love that so much information is there for them to know exactly what day and time it is which gets confusing for them. It would have been hard for them to set alone but I was able to set it up pretty quickly - especially when I read the little directions.

Very Nice Digital Clock, Really Cool Font!
It's very visible, the display is between white and blue. Only remark is that this is not a "Wall Mounted Clock" like I thought. It is a desktop clock. I had to use tools and chip away plastic to make it hang on a wall. However, the curved back plate and usb cable make it project 2 inches from the wall. It's not flat. There is similar clocks that are "wall mountable", they have similar features and display. They are only slightly more expensive. So to save you the hassle of being unaware and not reading this products description right.I love this clock on my wall and my friends compliment it. However, it was difficult to mount and not an easy task.

Helps with Independence for Dementia Patients
This is perfect for my father. He has dementia and has trouble remembering the date. I set him up with a 31 day medication box and set this clock up right next to it. Since the clock has the date and day of the week on it, he is able to pick out the corresponding number on the pill box and is able to take his days meds. This helps him to be independent and it allows me to set up his meds only once a month. I know the day will come when it won't be enough, but, for now, it works. If course, Mom helps keep him in track, but it helps them be more independent, so it's well worth the money! Easy set up, straight from the box, score!

I love the adjustability of the brightness
For those of us with less than perfect vision, and also cantankerous enough that we don't want to have to put on our glasses to check the time in the middle of the night, this clock is the bomb. Not like explosive, but it's the bomb nonetheless. The time is easily readable from several feet away.My favorite feature is the adjustability of the brightness/dimness . It was also my biggest concern before buying it. I like the room dark when sleeping, so how dim it would go, and at how fine-tuned I could make the adjustments in brightness were critical. Happy to report that it is highly adjustable, including down to a point of barely-there dimness if you want. And making that adjustment is fairly easy, simply by pushing either the Up or Down button on the back. It would be easier still if they had put those dimness buttons on the front instead of the back, but not important enough to me to downgrade my score on the review.Do note that the light on the screen only works when you have the clock plugged in (USB). That wasn't a surprise to me, and it's not a problem; I think one would expect to have to plug in a clock that lights up anyway, right? The time is hyper-accurate since it's automatically synchronized to official whatevers.Oh, and the other thing I like about it (one of the reasons I picked it) is that I like to see the secondhand, which almost no digital alarm clocks seem to have these days.I can't speak to the alarm functions; I didn't need those features, but they are there for those who do need them.

Well-made clock, but a few issues
I got this clock so my wife could easily see the day of the week so she knew which pills to take from her pill box. The characters are big and bright and easy to see, although because they use straight segments to compose the characters they look like they belong on an equipment console at NASA.The clock arrived and was already set to the correct time. However, it did default to the alarm being set to "ON" and it surprised me when it came on at 7 a.m. the next day. Hitting the snooze button only stopped it for a minute or so. I had to flip a switch in the back to turn it off. But since I don't need the alarm I don't have to keep worrying about it every morning. The clock uses batteries as a backup when the power goes out, although the display doesn't stay on to prevent draining the batteries. You have to press the snooze button to see the time if the wall power is out. Normally, it's powered from a wall socket using an adapter module that supplies power through a USB cable. I just have two problems with the power cable. First, it sticks out a few inches from the wall socket, so you need a lot of free space around the socket to allow room for the power module. Second, the other end of the cable plugs in the back of the clock at a right angle and it uses a two inch plug that needs a lot of free space behind the clock. So you can't place the clock against the wall because the plug is so big. I took care of the first problem by using a right angle adapter for the wall socket so the power module sticks up rather than out from the wall. This is much less obtrusive. I can't fix the other problem so the clock just has to be at least three inches away from the wall.Overall I like the clock because I can work around the power cord issues and the characters don't have to look smooth to display the day, date, and time. But they could have made it easier to plug into the wall (or an outlet strip) and to be placed next to a wall by modifying the power module and cord.

Bright and bold.
I love the bold print and numbers. It helps me keep up with the days of the week, and with the cell phone charger makes it great!

Very good deal
It must have been good; it was stolen the first night we put it on the wall of my favorite resident's room.
