Excellent Tripod Strap
Can't remember the make of strap I had before this one, but I lost it, so the OP/Tech was the replacement. One thing that always irritated me about the old strap was the way that you looped the noose around the tripod feet. It was easy enough to get the noose off, but a pain in the butt to get it back on the tripod again. There are no such problems with this strap as the noose uses a plastic clip. You can set the noose to very wide, snap the clip together and tighten until it's giving you a secure grip that won;t fall off. Thereafter, simply unclip and reclip the latch. Very convenient. The length of the whole strap is adjustable too, with a flexible, wide neoprene shoulder strap that is both grippy on the shoulder and springy too, which helps keep the weight of the tripod from digging into you as you walk.Very well designed product.

It’s replaced my CleySpy as my favourite tripod carrier
Love it. Well made and I find it easier to use than keep having to unshoulder my CleySpy. Used for photography. No ‘sail’ effect that I got from the CleySpy ( pls note nothing against the CleySpy I would still use it for long hikes I guess.. and there are other brands out there that would have the same comparative comments as I make here)Well made. Elasticity if shoulder strap ( and width) make it very comfortable.

OP/TECH Tripod Strap - Black
I used this strap with those photographic tripods I own that lack their own carry case. The broad 'foam' protector is comfortable resting upon ones shoulder. Please note, the straps connect to the protector are of different lengths, the shorter cable usually being associated with the head of the tripod. The cable 'loops' can accommodate any size of tripod.

Great form and function from Op-Tech.
There are cheaper options to Op-Tech ,and there are much more expensive one's.I have foolishly gone with the cheap as chips options, and quickly regretted it ( poor design, rubbish materials ) and if money no object is not an option for you, then Op-Tech is probably the best . It's functional, well made, lightweight and most importantly does the job it's designed for. I started out several years ago with an Op-Tech sliding shoulder strap for my heavy Nikon D7000 ( with Zoom lens ) which has proved superb in use.I've since bought several other Op-Tech products and all are equally well made and thoughtfully designed. This Tripod strap is perfect for my relatively heavy Giottos/Manfrotto Tripod combo, easily clipping to each end and then sitting comfortably vertically or horizontally over my shoulder. Great. Just the job.

Removes and attaches with ease!
Great straps which perform the task! I bought two for different heavy duty photography tripods (Manfrotto 190+55). The thing that appealed to me was the ability to quickly remove the strap (Sometimes in windy conditions a strap rattling proves very irritating whilst waiting for a shot!) Once set up the clips either end can be used to remove/attach. The length of the strap is slightly biased either side of the padded area and when set up allows carrying head up or down as to personal preference providing good position and balance.Good materials and a reasonable price.

Does what it says on the tin.
This is good if you're carrying your tripod inbetween shoots where you're not going to need it. Not so good if you're carrying it with a camera attached and will need to open the tripod quickly. That said, I should have realised this before I brought it so this is no fault of the products. However, this does it's job very well if you don't want to/can't carry your tripod on your camera bag. The thick neoprene does a very good job of adding comfort and the width makes sure it doesn't dig into you. The only thing to be careful of is make sure that you don't whack yourself over the head with it if you have a tripod head mounted!

Better than a Tripod Bag
This is the ideal solution for carrying your tripod around. Works better than a bag because it's quick to set your tripod up and it weighs virtually nothing. The strap grips your top garments really well too.

Good OP/TECH quality strap - attachment points could be a little tighter
I also have an OP/TECH neckstrap for my camera and the quality and design are as always good quality.I especially like the material that gives a little stretch so that it absorbs shocks are you are carrying your tripod. Very comfortable to wear, which is important as my Manfrotto tripod weighs 2.5kg and I go hiking (often up and down hills) with my tripod and kit.The clips feel secure (same clips as the straps that carry my camera) but the loops, especially the ones around the tripod legs feel that they could be tighter as mine slides up to about midway up the tripod whereas I would have preferred it to stay nearer to the ends of the legs.Overall, good quality item and I can recommend it.

It ain't heavy... any more.
I needed a tripod strap that was capable of carrying a extremely heavy Video tripod and looking around my choice was very slim, but the Op/tec Tripod strap ticked all the right boxes, it certainly does the job and hopefully this will be the end of bruised shoulders. It’s very comfortable to carry, either horizontally or down the back (vertically) – definitely a 5 star winner for me.

which gives it a nice bit of cushion as you walk with it on ...
Bought this for a big heavy Manfrotto panorama setup with a 303SPH head. It makes the tripod much easier to carry over any sort of distance & the stitching has held up to the weight so far. The strap itself is made from a slightly elasticy/stretchy material, which gives it a nice bit of cushion as you walk with it on your shoulder when carrying a heavy load.

Comfy fit
Fantastic piece of equipment. It's very easy to for and very comfortable to wear, you forget your wearing it and it makes the troops feel much lighter. I highly recommend it

Does the job and the carry strap if comfortable
I've bought Op/Tech gear before and it's good stuff. So I bought this strap for my tripod, which was a bit cumbersome to carry. This strap make it easier, and the padding is more than adequate to spread the load on my shoulder. If I had to make 1 tiny criticism it would be to say the plastic connectors are a little big, but that's me being picky and why I gave it 4 stars.

Nice bit of kit
Works well with my Manfrotto 190 carbon 3 section with XPRO 3 head. Easy to sling on shoulder . I have the Manfrotto bag but I never use it as its bulky compared to this.I suppose if I was travelling abroad I would use the bag for protection.

Lightens the load
Simple to attach and dramatically reduces the effective weight of carrying a tripod

No use as a shoulder strap
Although I agree with the other reviews in as much that this is a well made strap that works well with a Manfrotto 055XPROB, I would not have bought it had I been able to try it beforehand. The strap is very unevenly balanced - with the swivel hook at the head end of your tripod and the strap round its feet, wearing the strap on your shoulder means the expensive knobbly end hangs low whilst the grubby feet ride high. Personally I want the expensive bit up in the air and clear of smashing into things (including my legs) and I want the dirty feet to hang down out of the way, but this is not possible with this strap as the head side is very long and the feet side very short! All that this strap needs to make it perfect is an evenly measured strap that you can adjust to suit different carrying modes - but as it is I would rather have spent a bit more on the Manfrotto strap than buy this, ditch it immediately and then buy the Manfrotto strap anyway... It may well be fine if you wear it on your back, but if you want to hang it from your shoulder it's a nightmare.
