I waited for this book with great anticipation—the kind that often leads to disappointment. Not in this case! I love this book. The tartes are so tempting—the kind you’d work on all day for very special friends! My first attempt will be the Foret Noire Tarte—it’s just so pretty and, reading the recipe, I can almost taste how delicious it will be!The format of the recipes is no fuss—very concise and clear, and I think some previous baking experience is a good idea. A previous reviewer suggested that there are difficult to find and very expensive ingredients, but I don’t find that to be the case on my initial perusal, though the complexity of the recipes does result in what I agree would result in pretty pricey desserts. I’m delighted with what I’ve read so far!

Stunning book! Very professional, though descriprive and well-arranged. Each recipe done step by step with a lot picures. Patisserie technologies explained briefly, but on point. Love it!

Incredible cakes and well detailed recipes

I am in love with this cookbook and cannot wait to try all the recipes! The directions and photos of steps are clear and on point. I will update when I create something!Update:I’m a tad sad. Most of these recipes include things that are hard to find in the USA, and if you do find them- they are expensive as heck like ($100!!!). I am so sad. I will see if I can substitute it with something more reasonable, but this is insane.
