Fantastic Budget Keyboard
For £30 this is a fantastic keyboard. It takes some getting used to if you're coming from a more mechanical feeling keyboard like my old Razer Ornata Chroma but its worth the switch. Having used it for a few hours the biggest adjustments to make are having to figure out how to use certain combinations of buttons to use some functions such as taking a print screen or having to hold shift to be able to use the delete key on the number pad and the actual location of the number pad itself. Getting past the different layout compared to a full sized keyboard this is actually a fantastic product especially for the price. The (possibly Omron) red switches are smooth, quiet and are a joy to type on and the overall build quality really surprised me with a plastic base housing being reinforced by the metal backplate on the face of the keyboard. The only downsides that I could find is that I an not the biggest fan of the "gamer style" font used on the keys and personally prefer a standard on the keys. I would also prefer if the backlighting was actually rgb as the only lighting that comes on this keyboard are colours that you cannot change as they are one colour LEDs (red, yellow, green, blue, purple). Its a disappointment to see going from the Razer Chroma system to standard non-addressable LEDs.Completely unrelated to the quality of the product, just something that I noticed is that I actually got the wrong keyboard user manual. This keyboard is the KB512L and I recieved the KB486L. Not an issue, just weird.8.5/10 would buy again.

Great keyboard for the price
Writing this review with this very keyboard, and it feels pretty good. In the description it describes the red switches as "tactile" when in reality red switches are linear (you don't feel the key switch *click* as the keypress registers). Didn't bother me as I know what red switches means, but for those looking for a first mechanical keyboard and expecting something very VERY clicky this might not be for you. That negative aside, the sound of the keyboard is good, not too loud even on the space bar (the loudest key). However, the biggest plus, in my book, is the backlighting. Nice and bright vibrant colours, and with - count 'em - 21 preset modes! (as well as 3 customisable ones.... and 2 specially for gaming.. and 1 for office use... and the speed and brightness are customisable too) For the price, this many lighting options is just impressive, and in a keyboard so compact which can easily fit on any desk, and with all of that lighting packed in, it's very good value

Good for price
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this keyboard for around 6 months (more consistently since I’ve gotten my new pc) and it’s holding up pretty well.I play rhythm games often so I’m afraid of wearing down the keys but, I think, as long as I change the keys I use ever so often it’ll be okay.My only problem is the sound of the spacebar. All other keys sound alright but the spacebar drives me crazy sometimes— I haven’t tried lubing the switches or placing o-rings underneath the keys but I’ll see how crazy it drives me before I snap.Additionally, I don’t recommend trying to swap the switches as I’m pretty sure they’re soldered (idk tho). I still have to look into changing the keycaps but hopefully that’s an available option.Overall, for the price, pretty good 👍

Great for gamers!
Our 15yr old is an avid PC gamer and he wanted a new keyboard for Christmas - the prices they come in at for ones with ‘high tech specs’ are enough to break the bank. So, when I found this one at the price is was listed, I thought it was too good to be true - but he LOVES it! Says it’s exactly what he was looking for, it’s really quiet and the keys are ‘fluid’. He also loves the multicoloured LED backdrop. Really great buy.

Good Value High Quality Gaming Keyboard
Very impressed with thisReturned a Razer 60% keyboard (£100) as could not get on with the layout but this is ideal and a steal at £30...Keys feel nice... Red Keys are not quiet but not really loud and have a nice weight for typing and gaming on.Used for COD BOPS and very impressed for Mouse and Keyboard use.Doesn't have a cheap feel to the keyboard and feels solid and well made.

Good when new but switches do not last
Very nice keyboard, good feel etc. One switch stopped working after a couple of weeks. Got replacement for free - good client support :). The replacement lasted just over a year when switches started to fail again but considering the low price that was kind of expected... I do lots of typing so will probably go for a higher range one next time with brown switches. But for casual gaming this was OK when it was new.

Pretty good
So my expectations were fairly low due to the price alone, but I'm happy for the most part.Pros:-Switches are good-Colour modes are plentiful-Nice overall sizeCons:-Lights could be a tad brighter-Build quality is less than exceptional. I've had farts with more weight to them.
