Just exactly what I needed. I wanted to mount a solar light to my flagpole and the old cap was broken and gone. The only thing I had left was a pulley that was mounted to the side of my pole. With this truck I simply removed the old pulley and attached this over the pole and I was ready. They even threw in 3 extra set screws. The solar light and ball pole topper mounted easily too.

The Deneve Flag Pole Pulley Truck is very sturdy and easy to install. We had a very strong wind event recently that snapped the bottom section of our 20 foot aluminum 3” flag pole. When I checked for other damage neither the ball screwed into the top of the Truck or the Truck itself were damaged even after falling onto the concrete driveway. I was able to repair the pole myself and continue flying our US flag immediately. Obviously I won’t have to buy a new Truck, but if I did I might get a 2 pulley Truck.

This fit perfectly on my 30 year old flagpole. Super easy installation and accommodated the thicker 5/16" rope quite easily. The only knock is the pully wheel is plastic (as are most replacements) so it might not last long in our AZ heat and sun. Nice replacement that looks great!

I bought this pulley truck to convert my flagpole to a halyard and pulley system. The flagpole top section (it's telescoping) is spec'd by the manufacturer as 2" aluminum. This truck fit perfectly. Three set screws attach it securely (3 extra set screws thrown in). The pulley turns freely, and seems to be sturdy. The truck is drilled and tapped for standard 1/2" NPT, so I was able to use my existing ball ornament. Very pleased.BTW, if you are going to convert a telescoping flagpole to a halyard and pulley system you are going to have to deal with the issue of attaching the cleat. This has nothing to do with this truck, which is a great part of the kit needed...just a head's up. My flagpole offered no place to drill for screws without interfering with the next up telescoping section. I used a couple of strips of fiberglas cloth and resin...wrap the fiberglas around the cleat and flagpole, brush in the resin, badabing. Holding up well and no holes.

I ended up donating this to a veteran we are friends with. It was too big for my flag pole but works great for his.

That's exactly what it's supposed to do. Got my flag back up on display.
