Very Thin Book, but did Save me Time
Description does state it's 40 pages but you don't really realize how thin 40 pages are until you're holding the book in your hand. Forty pages, front/back is only 20 total pieces of paper. Some good info, and for 5.99 it did save me looking up the info online, which I'm sure I could have. So, it depends on whether or not it's worth 5.99 to you for info you can probably find online for free if you take the time.

Good but short
Good but short book on making money via thrift shops. It is well written with many good tips but in some instances lacking in elaboration and could be beefed-up a lot more 4 stars

Little disappointed here. I read the entire book and another one, while waiting at the dentist office, I only picked up a couple of interesting "tips". I think this was a quick write... the price reflects that too.

A disappointing few pages with very little information. Not at all what I expected
Very disappointing. Hardly any information and really nothing that I can use. I would recommend skipping this one. Look for something more than a few pages.

Meh....
Book was not edited very well, the speaker kept stopping and starting over in sections instead of just editing it out it was kept in. So only being about an hour long it shouldn't have been hard to just edit the audio. Most of the information was VERY generic and almost seemed like common sense. Some of the videos were not even online anymore and the other videos that were online, were not that great. I guess it would be a good book for a complete newbie to thrifting, or to life in general. This book was more of a "let me collect a bunch of generic info about thrifting, along with some videos and resources and make it into a book." But like I said, overall it was not to bad, and very newbie type book. I was expecting much more actual tips, tricks, hints, that sort of thing. You will not find anything like that in this book. This is just plain generic information that you can find with a simple Google search on thrifting.

Well edited info for beginners - but the videos are TERRIBLE!
Author's advice is well organized, on point, and (mostly) spot on. However, after attempting to watch a handful of the attached videos I am left wondering why WHY are they included?? For instance, one of the first videos in the section about how to check for quality items is specific to clothing. It is 35 stinkin' minutes long and just features a woman talking to the camera about what it's like to thrift, or the many (vague) surprises you may find at the thrift store. Yeah, I fast forwarded through parts, but still heard nothing about how to inspect thrifted garments for quality.I guess the videos in the 3rd appendix or so were appropriately labeled. Though I really can't see the value of some guy showing what he recently thrifted, giving a cursory description, and then showing the next thing.Ditch the videos. The book is better on it's own.And yes, I'm about to go try to find a useful video link again - lest I be thought unfair.
