I beat the snot out of my bookbags, but this one is holding up. I hated the extra straps, but they're easy to remove. Nice, bright design and lots of room inside.

Beautiful colours, and overall a great-seeming backpack. I just threw out a 35-litre backpack, and at 33-litres, this one feels subtly smaller; however, this backpack is probably big enough for any use except camping, and there are a couple straps on the outside that you can use to attach other stuff if you don't have room. The straps are well-padded, and there are many tiny pouches and pockets for small things, if you want that. The mesh side pockets seem well built and like they'll last a long time (on my last backpack, that was one of the first things to go). Otherwise, I can't speak for the durability yet, though from the other reviews, it sounds like it'll last a few years, and if so, justify the price. My one main complaint is that there are no straps across the chest. I've tied on a buckle to the straps myself so that I'll have an upper chest strap, as I find that makes it much easier to carry heavy loads on a bike, as I often do. Another potential downside is that there's no large laptop pocket, only a midsized "tablet" pocket as a sub-compartment of the middle pocket, though a large laptop could fit into the largest pocket loose. Recommended.

Great backpack. Zippers are smooth. It has held up and my daughter loves it. Would recommend.
