Great upgrade from sx
Great feeling, positive detents while shifting. Nice metal downshift lever, housing and replaceable clamp, as opposed to the plastic sx junk that came on my bike. Less slop and take-up in the levers, so most likely higher quality internals than sx. It was only $27, 50% off!! I'm super happy I pulled the trigger on it. Still have the SX derailleur, which I'll swap out once it's unserviceable, but for now it works just fine with the GX shifter, so no worries there. SX will shift, but this just does it more accurately.

Worthwhile upgrade
Replaced SX shifter with the GX. Thought it would just be a lever feel improvement but also shifts considerably better, especially on multi cog shifts. Derailleur was previously upgraded form SX to GX.

Mi bicicleta venia con la versión SX la cual utilice por unos 6 meses y el cambio por esta GX es totalmente acertado pues el cambio es mucho más suave, rápido y preciso con este nuevo componente, muy recomendado.
