The Frankford Arsenal Platinum Reloading Stand is a must have for anyone with limited space. The tabletop and frame are foldable to store in compact spaces. The frame is made of 1.5" steel tube and opens to 34" x 21" to provide an extremely rigid work station. The frame is height adjustable from 28.5" to 45" to suit reloading from a sitting or standing position. The tabletop is width adjustable from 13" x 12" to 39" x 12" so it can accommodate all types of reloading processes. The durable wood center section is ideal for mounting a press, powder measure or other fixed position tools while the side shelves easily accommodate any free-standing trimmers, scales or almost any other reloading tools. The stand also includes two side bins for holding components or small tools.

If space is a problem, this stand is hard to beat. Superb, strong, and very functional
I waited until I had my XL650 setup and had reloaded several hundred rounds of 45ACP before commenting. Yes, it is slightly wobbly (I have carpet, which may be the cause). Yes, there are more stable reloading platforms with much more surface area for components, but they will be much heavier, much larger, and permanent of semi-permanent. HOWEVER ... if you have limited space (like me - an apartment dweller) and know it will not be a permanent setup due to always moving or needing to be mobile (I move a lot in my job), then it is FANTASTIC! The five stars are for those reasons. It is perfect for me. I use bags of lead bullets as counterweights on the opposite side base to help counteract any overturning force (moment) as I work, and they help. (I got tired of the more laborious cleaning after shooting lead; thus, the lead bullets have been put to better use. I now use Berry, Rainer or X-treme copper plated bullets.) I strongly encourage anyone with limited space to seriously consider this reloading stand. The Dillon Precision XL650 I use is not a small reloader. It is a large progressive press that pumps out hundreds of rounds per hour, yet it functions fine on this stand. And to further merit the 5 star rating, the stand is very low priced considering its functionality, strength, and general perfect application for folks who do not have the space for a large permanent setup. Frankly, even it I did have the space, etc., the bullet quality would be no better than what I can produce using this reloading stand. The ONLY thing I wish they would change is to add a half-inch or so more width so that the Dillon Strong Mount can be used. I wanted to use it but ended up having to mount the XL650 directly to the stand. However, in my opinion that didn't warrant a lower rating since it functions fine as is.

Very Useful for the Part Time Reloader
I wanted a small bench for reloading out in my woodworking shop. Something I could take down and set up easily. This little bench fits the Bill nicely. I have an old RCBS RockChucker set that is 35 years old. I haven't used it much in the last 25 years but got it out this year to reload for the 30-30. I had everything setup on my woodworking bench but that made doing any woodworking impossible. I had thoughts of building a little table and then I came across this. This little table does flex a bit when sizing cases but it is not an issue. I can easily move this little table anywhere in my shop. It is probably a little pricey but for me---it's perfect!!!

Great benchif you are on limited space and limited budget
For the, money, the best portable reloading stand I could find. It's nice, compact and fits easily in a closet. It is relatively sturdy but the shelves do have a bit of a wobble. I wish you could adjust just a little bit higher but it gets pretty tall. I might suggest some sort of leveling system on the legs much like they do on a washing machine that would help substantially. Overall, for the money I'm very pleased with the purchase for the reloading that I do and the space that I have. I would recommend this to anyone in a similar situation.

This really solved my problem of having no good place to set up a press and reload
Works very well. I'll say that the wooden center section is just a little smaller than the footprint of a Dillon Strong Mount for a 550 press, so I've currently got it clamped on instead of bolted on. This really solved my problem of having no good place to set up a press and reload. It folds down to a smaller size for storage in the garage. It is stable enough for a progressive press, even at full height with the Strong Mount on top. It flexes just a little, but I can work all 4 stations at once. If I lowered the height and sat down instead of standing, it would be more stable. I do like the adjustable height, I've used it with a regular chair, higher stool, and standing- all work well. Happy with the purchase, would recommend for anyone in the same situation. I plan to cut some additional wood center sections so I can swap them out and have one with a vice and one with a bolted down swage tool so I don't end up with a thousand holes in the top for different items.

Great little table for reloading
Great little table for reloading. The only complaint I have is that after I bolted down my Hornady Lock n Load reloader to it and started using it, the entire top started tilting towards the front (the reloader is quite heavy, not to mention I'm constantly pulling DOWN on the cycling lever, plus having a little tray full of lead bullets hanging off the front). So I pulled the reloader off and fashioned a single steel bracket that goes from just under the reloader (secured with a 3/4" lag bolt into the wood) to the bottom of the movable top portion (secured with a bolt, w/ the hole drilled clear thru w/ a washer/lock washer/nut on the back side). NOW it's built like a rock and doesn't budge w/ my rather heavy reloader sitting there in the middle as I use it. NOW I LOVE IT! They should do this at the factory though...but it's easy enough to modify...I'd do this before you even bolt your reloader to it, you won't regret it. Space saving too..the sides pop off and the legs fold up...so I can put it away when I want (not that I ever want to...it has a place of honor in my MAN CAVE!)

Very easy setup
I purchased this looking for a compact workbench for my apartment. To that end I was not disappointed, as folded up the table takes up only about 16x12 inches. I do wish it was about 6 inches deeper front to back, but that may defeat the purpose of the compactness. Also, despite the small size it is very sturdy. Will be mounting a Lee Classic Turret Press eventually, and I feel little apprehension about that. What surprised me the most was the assembly. Usually you can expect furniture to be a pain in the but to assemble. I came home as 9pm after an 11 hour workday and thought "Well, today can't get any worse." Fully expecting to be annoyed, the whole thing assembled in like 30 minutes with no hassle! You will need a wrench or something for holding bolt while you screw with an Allen wrench. Otherwise, I consider assembly to be a nice highlight. On mine the wood top was premounted to the steel frame, but the instructions said that may not always be the case, so your mileage may vary. Also, for what it's worth, my cats like the thing.

Excellent Reloading Press Table
This is an excellent small stand for a single press reloading, especially if you find it on sale but still well worth regular price. It is very easy to assemble and folds up nicely for storing when not in use. I have mine set up with a Hornady single stage press bolted to the wooded part of the table top and I have plenty of space to either bolt or use a fence clamps to secure other pieces of equipment as needed. the fold up side tables are great to keep other needed gear handy while reloading. I even think this table would work well with a progressive press as long as the footprint of the press fits the wooden table top area to be bolted down and possibly use 2 to 4 50lb sand bags place overtop of the table legs for extra security from tipping while operating a progressive press. This table is not as ideal as securing any press to a solid bench top but for people with limited space it is an excellent support of a reloading press.

Comodo - salva spazio - originale
