Does this pillow have flame retardant?

My Brest Friend has not used fire retardants since the law requiring it changed in December 2010. We follow the highest level of safety, health concerns and government regulations. In 16 years, we have never had any issue with safety or health with the use of our pillows. We test all of our foam and products using Intertek laboratories, considered to be one of the leading independent testing laboratories in the world. All of our tests have passed the legal and strictest safety regulations. We continue to test all residuals for safety, and the results show that they are either nonexistent or at a level that is considered to be "non-detectable" by the laboratory, and therefore considered safest. I'm plus size. Does the wrap around expand for voluptuous mamas?

I feel like this question deserves a more updated answer. I just bought it (March 2021) and I will return it because it will clearly not fit me even after I give birth. The whole point is to have back support. I know I be smaller after giving birth, but not that much and not that fast. Maybe it's better for when I lose more weight and the baby is bigger. I was sizev12 pre pregnancy and now must be around size 18. A shame.

I have read that this product has some problems with its odor. Does the pillow keep that toxic odor over time?

It does smell like foam upon opening... BUT if you take the clear plastic cover off, then zip the fabric cover off, then put the clear plastic cover back directly over the foam base then zip the fabric cover over the top of the plastic you 1. Don't smell the foam & 2. Keep leaky milk from seeping into the foam, making it smell worse. Just unzip the fabric cover off for regular washing & leave the clear plastic cover on for the products lifetime. Tada! No stinky pillow!

Is the cover on this removeable?

Yes! I just hang it up to dry after washing it. It's kind of a pain to get on and off the form but it is removable.

Wonderful product

Wonderful product! So simple yet so helpful. As a new mommy this is a God-send. It has replaced 3-4 pillows and still gives better back support. Love the little pouch on the front as well.

Me encantó el cojin. En verdad que me ayudo mucho a corregir el agarre con mi bebé y su postura. Es muy útil y de excelente calidad. Se ajusta a la cintura y realmente es muy cómodo para mi bebé. La entrega fue muy rápida.

I hesitated to purchase this breastfeeding pillow due to the price…6 weeks into having my son I wish I’d bought it sooner! My newborn is very wiggly and also quite long for his age so it made breastfeeding and finding the right position a constant battle - usually ending up with him in tears and me too. I tried the boppy and using standard pillows around the house, but nothing worked.This pillow allows him to feed comfortably and also lets me multitask (even eating!) while we are sat on the sofa. If you are debating buying it, it’s worth the investment.

Luego de ver como mi esposa batallaba para darle de comer a nuestra pequeña, usando almohadas o cojines y sábanas, decidí buscar si había cojines de este tipo, para mi sorpresa así fue pero la marca lider que creo es boppy o algo así decidí buscar alguna opción más económica pero funcional. Este cojín resultó increíblemente bueno para las dos, mi bebé tiene 2 meses y es una maravilla según mi esposa, ella es delgada, le hicieron la cesárea y cuenta como no sufre de la espalda ni de posiciones raras para amamantarla como ocurría antes. Se ajusta a la perfección y es una almohada muy cómoda con un bolsillo muy práctico, hecha desde pañuelos, hasta papel o el celular. Lo único que noté que podrían mejorar y OJO para otros usuarios, es que el sistema de ajuste o cinturón es algo cortito, así que si la mamá es unas tallas un poco grandes, puede que no le cierre o le apriete, pero seguro se puede modificar en una tienda de esas donde componen ropa y cierres. Todo lo demás perfecto.
