I matched these to the exact model number and lift force of the originals, so they would work well. They fit perfectly and simply snap on, once you screw on the ball ends. The installation couldn't be simpler... These make lifting the camper shell rear window extremely easy, just like brand new. The opening and closing force are relatively easy, and the opened force will easily hold the window open even in heavy winds. The look and quality of these struts are good, and they have no visible leaks or problems. I expect to get many years of use from them. Highly recommended...

Yes these fit and work perfectly. Might be a little be on the strong side but it's fine. I know the window won't slam down or will it fly up if the handle aren't locked.

My skepticism kicks in because these struts are so much more dainty than my OEM Stabilus units. The cylinders and rods on these 17" (35#) units are noticeably smaller in diameter, which does not inspire confidence. That said, they install easily and are suitably powerful for my camper shell hatch that originally had 35# units. The test will be longevity, but at the price it's difficult to have high expectations. These put a stop to my OEM units randomly dropping the hatch on my head, or crashing down on a breezy day, and that's a good thing. My hope is that they last a reasonably long time.

Easy to install. Fit perfectly, just know you have to screw the ends on. Install one side at a time. They have just the right resistance for Lear high back topper. Great value.

Easy installation worked great on a 2006 Ridgeline I bought. The previous owner was old n used a stick too keep the door up. No noises. Smooth operation. Strong. I think it's upgraded from stock? Can't remember but its not floppy. A-1 Replacement \\m//

These work great to replace the out of gas ones on my 4’ Costco tool box. The ends screw off and are the same thread so I could use the original pivot links from the original struts. 😀 hopefully they will last as long as the original ones (15 years).

Used on a 2011 F150 bed canopy as the glass struts. These worked very well - installed in November 2024 and still holding up perfectly in May 2025. There is a pretty good amount of tension/ stiffness to them which is what was needed.

I have a 2011 F150 with a fiberglass LEER canopy, aluminum framed glass window, and the 16" 28lbs were the perfect fit and pressure for mine.
