Picky Turtle Says, "More Please!"
I have an Asian Flap shell turtle who is a very picky eater. He absolutely LOVES Bug Bites though. He has very specific dietary requirements, and so he can't eat only Bug Bites, or he most certainly would... one whole bag at a time. Also, once he has some Bug Bites, he rejects the rest of his food, and tries to hold out for more bug Bites. Therefore, I save the Bug Bites for last. They are, in a way, his desert. I've been feeding these to him for several weeks now, and he has not once turned his nose up at them.

Happy turtles
The turtles & cats hear the bucket get opened & come running. Only the turtles get to eat it so I’m not sure what the cats fascination with it is.

Sticks are a tad smaller than expected but my snapper likes them!!!
These are similar to other protien sticks I have purchased for my snapping turtle. They are a bit smaller in size than what I was expecting for a medium to large turtle as far as the thickness goes which means if my snapper doesn't eat them right away & plays with them they will be more likely to disintegrate & dirty his tank. I don't mind this though as I supervise his snack & meal times so if he isn't eating things I can take them out. They do float well until he starts nipping at them without eating them at which time they break apart as expected. He seems to like them about the same as other floating sticks & the package is a good quality, thick, resealable package which I really like. My snapper has an incredible sense of smell & when things start to go to stale he won't eat them. These are at a good price point especially for a trusted brand that makes other products I use for my turtle's care.Overall this is a good product thus far. I will update if things change. Best ingredients, healthy, delicious to turtles
It's a few bucks more expensive than other brands, but I don't mind since most every other turtle foods are made from horrible ingredients. Soldier fly larvae are also the number ingredient, and are known to be the highest calcium insect in the world. Which is great since turtles need a lot of calcium. There's also salmon in it which is super healthy with the omega vitamins. I'm guessing the salmon is also why my alligator snapping turtles love it so much. I feed them shrimp, grasshoppers, crickets, mealworms, minnows and yet they go for this turtle food first. Probably the only thing they like more is freshly caught crappie, or perch from the lake. I would say don't even bother with other brands. This one blows them out of the water.
