Take negative reviews seriously
I so wanted this to be all that it appears to be, but was truly disappointing. The reviews of its longevity of the batteries is true. Some reviews I read, said three days or even one day and the battery were no longer working. How about ONE HOUR of fun and the cats really didn’t have that much fun with itA shoe lacing offered more fun than this toy did to my cats. This toy apparently takes five batteries to run and can you tell me that five batteries all of a sudden after an hour do not work. There are two AAA batteries and three round batteries that go in the remote.Sorry to say this was not a good of toy for my cats.On the package, you can see if you blow it up, says to read the page of instructions before use. There was no page of instructions to follow. And even if anyone were to keep this toy, they would need a specific tiny tiny screwdriver to be able to remove the screws to get to the five batteries. I is a senior citizen. Do not have that tool, nor know how to get it This. Toy is a failure. It would help if they want to keep this product going to have it on a rechargeable USB then it would be worth the $15 or maybe even I’d be willing to pay $10 more for that feature. Also, the mouse itself is hard so cats are not gonna want to pick it up in their mouth.I need to return this and get my money back and I hope others read the reviews and take them seriously and do not buy this toy unless you have $15 to spend on an hours worth of mediocre fun .

Remote control connection not the best
I’m trying to get my cats to exercise more and thought this would be a good thing for them to chase around. This requires strong batteries, and a close proximity to the toy with the clicker. And the signal is easily disrupted, . The clicker is noisy and the cats have figured out when they hear that noise the mouse might move, I have to be within a few feet and have a clear site line to get this to work. I really hoped that in the day of technology it would work off blue tooth or wi-fi. There is an on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse, I’m not 100% sure but I think if you leave it turned on it drains the batteries faster. I’ll keep this around for a while but if I keep going thru batteries (I’m on my second set) I’ll donate it to an animal shelter

16 year old Bengal loves it.
Quality toy for the price. Moves straight going forward, circles backwards. The remote uses AAA batteries. The mouse uses 3 button batteries. Minus 1 star for that.

Not worth it
It moves but you can't get it too far away from the remote. Sometimes it just sits there and spins its Wheels. Would not recommend and wishing I had not bought it. Does not really engage the cat like we were hoping. She just watches it. And seriously it could be stronger. You can't get it more than 24 in from you before the remote stops working.

dog toy
Our maltipoo loves to chase this toy around. We haven't had any problems with the abuse out dog has unleashed upon this toy.

Waste of money (remote control mouse)
The media could not be loaded. I got this product because I thought it received good reviews. Turns out the reviews are based on several of the seller’s products and not just this one. The remote control mouse is not worth the money. It’s made very cheaply and the controls only go forward and “backward” (clockwise in a circle). It’s not intuitive for a cat to hunt it (because you have to make it go round and round in circles backwards to get it to turn anywhere), and you have to stay within five feet of it or the remote detection is not detected (so you’re probably going to get in the way of the path for your cat to get it). My very active kitten likes to just watch it or barely paw at it—when it works. Half the time it just stops working and I have to turn it off and on, clean the wheels, or sometimes just hit it a little to get it to work again. It’s made very cheaply and I’m guessing its value is less than $5 in how it’s made. Not worth the $15 I spent on it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Note that I’ve only had it for less than a week and it already malfunctions. I’ve used it just twice and I honestly bet it won’t last the month.
