Worked well
Water flow was good when taking a shower. Was quite satisfied with it. I never measured the amount of water coming out of it per minute though. Have to take the manufacturer's word that it uses less water.

Great value
I bought this after our miracle contractor flushed out our boiler and left us with more hot water pressure than I ever thought possible in our old house. It was too hard to adjust the shower to a manageable pressure, so I wanted a low-flow showerhead, but I have had some before that really made the water sting. Not so with this one - perfect spray, just the right pressure for our tastes, and I like the little rubber spray jet things - I've had them before on other shower heads and you really do just have to run your fingers over them if they get clogged or start spraying in an odd direction. My only (minor) complaint about this shower head is that you can't swivel it very far in a downward direction. I'm sure if I went to the hardware store I could probably find something to remedy this, just haven't gotten around to that yet. All in all, can't beat the deal.

Best shower head! (minus the look)
This shower head is great. I never have any problems with it and the pressure is great. It isn't to hard or soft and it has a great even stream of water. I don't technically need a water saving shower head because it is included in my rent, but it helps the environment and you can't even tell it uses less water! The arm is flexible - you can go a few degrees in any direction, but nothing too crazy. For your basic shower head this should be fine, if you need to get a flexible arm, a hardware store should have something. This comes with everything you need to install it except a wrench. The rubber nozzles are nice in case they start getting dirty you can brush your finger against them to loosen the dirt.I would say the one down side to this shower head is the casing. It is not pretty, so if you have a fancy bathroom this will definitely not match.

The little shower head that could!
We moved into a rental house and found that the shower heads were not just old-school, but were flowing at +6 gallons every 30 seconds (+12 gallons a minute)!! Not only was this a huge waste of water, but the power of the stream felt like it was peeling off layers of skin. The water is also "hard" such that minerals build up on faucets and in the water heater. We replaced the high-flow shower heads with these $5 shower heads. The build:This shower head is relatively small: the face of it being no larger than the palm of a smaller hand. They are made of hard plastic and silicon. The package comes with a small roll of teflon tape. The instructions warn against over-tightening, so instead of using a wrench, I hand tightened them. The silicon nozzles are very easy to clean - after 2 months of use a few of the nozzles started spray in odd directions (the tell-tale sign that a bit of detritus is in there). Just a quick swipe of my fingers across the flexible nozzles opened them back up to original working condition. How they work:In a word: Wonderfully!! I did measure the output at around 1.5 gallons a minute using a bucket for 30 seconds. No, it won't peel the skin from your bones, but it provides enough pressure for my wife to wash the shampoo from her hair. She also noted that she doesn't feel as guilty spending a few more moments in the shower b/c of the low-flow rate.I would recommend these. They're easy to install, come with all of the materials, are easy to clean/clear, and provide enough oomph to make my wife happy.

Save water and heating dollar$ with this shower head
Our family includes 3 teenage daughters who enjoy L-O-N-G showers. We had a 2.5 GPM shower head, but I wanted to save water and water heating dollar$. I tried the 1.5 GPM Sava showerhead from Niagara, but the flow was too soft and my daughters and wife complained they couldn't wash shampoo and conditioner from their long hair. So I tried this one, which has better, stronger flow. The girls weren't happy the flow was cut from 2.5 to 1.5 GPM (a nearly 50% savings in water usage and heating dollar$), but the pressure was sufficient and they were willing to accept the change. So I like this head - it quickly paid for itself in about 6 weeks.

Great for the money
I have tried several low flow heads, while they all save water and electricity(less hot water) some have better spray patterns. This one has a nice straight pattern, it doesn't spray the wall and the shower door together as some do. It came with some teflon tape to put on the threads, and its all plastic, I would rather have one with metal for the connection, as I really like to tighten them down so they won't spin loose as you move the head. If you tighten the plastic that tight, it will split, so be careful. It also has a screen to catch any bigger items such as sand or pieces of rust if you have old metal pipes, this will keep the shower head from becoming clogged, but if you do have these issues, you would have to remove the shower head to clean the screen, just like in your sink or washing machine. If you have a well and pvc pipe, and get sand in your faucets, do yourself a BIG FAVOR, put a whole house filter inline. I know higher quality heads are out there, but you also pay 10x the price or more and they do the same thing. I ordered several of these to put in my house, parents, and friends. They all were pleased. It did solve a problem at the girlfriends house, before changing heads, after 1 person took a shower, you would have to wait 30 minutes for another, now 2 can take a shower without waiting. So I know we are saving a lot on the water and electric bill. She has medium length hair and says she has no problems rinsing out shampoo.
