The Little Black Book
In the recovery world this has been called "The Little Black Book" It is on point and fits nicely in my daily devotions it has become a staple in my recovery and I read it every day as it go's everywhere with me.

My original copy burned in a house fire & it & AA Big Book were absolutely mandatory to replace for my sobriety. Even if you aren’t in the AA or NA program, this is the best daily self-help book I have ever read.

Good for Daily Meditation
As one of the many books for daily meditation available in the recovery community this is possibly my favorite. Having a thought, meditation, and prayer for each day is very helpful. Though not conference approved the book holds true to the principles and traditions of 12-step recovery, though its usefulness particularly for the meditations and prayers would apply to anyone. This pocket edition is easy to carry around or store conveniently in your preferred meditation spot. Only draw back with the pocket size is that sometimes the text is a bit on the small side, but not unreadable. Makes a great gift for people new to recovery, sponsors, or other friends in the program.

I know this book is geared towards alcoholics, however I am not an alcoholic but still found it full of practical wisdom. It shows the way to a deep but simple and practical faith. It's helpful for getting through each day without unnecessary worry or anxiousness. Everyone can benefit from this book, alcoholics and non-alcoholics alike. Some people complain about the size. It is small but I find this convenient and it is bound and printed well. If you're okay with reading the print in an average Bible, you'll be fine reading this.

I think this nice little book is wonderful It is small and compact so it is easy to place next to any place that you sleep. When you wake up it is easy to read the ideas the meditations and the prayer. It gets my mind in the right way and it is a powerful tool in staying sober and on the AA path. I am glad every morning that I got this book.

Excellent book with wonderful insightful prose all through. A great start to each day over the year. Some very profound explanations of our typical non effective behaviour, how to spot these and how rather to act in our daily lives. I have found this book an invaluable resource in my toolkit and will read it always. Thanks to all the contributors.
