Previous Review: Had the battery for a month and battery died out quickly. Recharged and died quickly again. Poor quality. (Not true! Read on!)I have to commend the company for responding to this review and replacing the battery without my prompting! Excellent customer service.Here's the real story! After replacing the battery and fully charging the new battery, the Dyson continued to have issues with the battery shutting off. However, the battery wasn't the issue. There was significant debris deep within the unit and it caused it to intermittently shut off the battery. I would remind others to first clear all debris within the tubes and deeply within the unit. Take out the filters, replace or clean them!Apologies to the company! They were responsive and professional! Very appreciative of their speedy response time!

Update 6/24/24:Great customer service! They sent me a new replacement battery and it has been working great.Original:Battery was easy to install and worked great for the first couple months. Now it will not hold a charge and constantly stops working after about 30 seconds of use.

I was excited when I first got the battery, worked well and had as good if not better power than the stock battery for my Dyson V8. Trying to use it today, it's super dead. It lasted less than half the life of the stock battery (3 years) so that's a bummer. Time to look for a new one!Update: Customer service reached out and sent me a new one! Very thankful and pleasantly surprised. Works just as well as the original purchase. 5 stars for service!!

Updated review: I'm back to say that I am happy and impressed with this seller's customer service. I originally received a defective battery and it went bad after the return window. Once I posted my review, the seller reached out to me offering a replacement battery. I purposely waited 3 months before coming to update my review because I wanted to give it plenty of time to see how this replacement would work. So far, it's been really great! It doesn't take long to charge and it holds the charge for close to 2 1/2 weeks before I need to charge it again. I vacuum at least twice a week and sometimes I put the vacuum on max for carpet in certain areas. My entire house has carpet in every room except bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room. All other rooms need to be vacuumed, so it's good that the replacement battery can handle all that without needing to be recharged more often.BIG thanks to the seller for great customer service and the willingness to send me a replacement at no charge.Original review: Waste of money! I’ve had this replacement battery for about a month and now it won’t maintain enough charge to finish one small room. It dies within minutes no matter how long you charge it. And it’s right past the return window, so I can’t send it back.Terrible product!
