Dangerous could have caused a fire

Ordered this as a gift for my cousin, however he notified me that after moderate usage the plastic casing had melted (see picture). Most people seem happy with this product, but there is a chance you may get a faulty one like this. That’s the risk you take, but either way this could be potentially dangerous.

The first pack i purchased worked perfectly when i fitted they. They were on for 30 mins and the next morning when we tried to turn them on they didnt work. I bought new batteries for the remote but still didnt work. I checked all connections and all were fine so contacted the seller and they sent a new set within 3 days. Instead of taking down all the 10m fitted i used the new adapter/ transformer and remote and the lights worked again. Fingers crossed this still works tomorrow (I've only just exchanged the fittings). Now i have 10m of lights with no adaptor/transformer or remote !! But i guess will keep as spares if anything happens to the original ones. So i guess I'm happy with purchase as long as it keeps working... not sure why the first ones stopped working but guess faulty adapter/transformer. The seller was quick to respond to my email and sent me a new set very quickly. Giving 3 stars only because shouldn't have had a faulty set x

These work great temporarily then stop working after 2-3 months. I purchased this in October and by December the lights would only occasionally work. They had completely stopped working by February. Most of these reviews are probably within a month of purchasing. I purchased two other lights for my siblings and one started fizzing so it was unsafe and the other one has also stopped working.

Stopped working less then a week! So disappointed. Don't waste ur money guys. 😥

I am disappointed with the stickiness of the second role of tap we had that will not stick to the ceiling it has not stickiness to it. want to speak to customer services but only offering return when one half is up and want a replacement of the second role

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Purchased for my little nephew who a big gamer. Placed all around his room to set the trend and mood. He absolutely loves it and has it on most the time. The quality and thickness of led is just right and sticks well to the wall, After looking at some reviews was abit nervous. But so far it has been great with no issues.
