I had used this product before when my sister sent to me few years ago. I really liked it as I can use for foundation, and now I want to put my sunscreen for portability and easy reapplication. I am so glad now it is on Amazon, and I will probably buying more over the time. The seller sent it quick and it arrived a week earlier than eta even though it was shipping from Korea.

Didn’t think a cushion compact would make such a difference in applying product till I hit the combo that I like to put on my face. “Experimenting” with putting things on the cushion sponge was crazy wasteful.I wear sunscreen and a BB cream. Squeezing multiple products on the cushion and then dabbing on face works well for me. I feel I have more control on amount used and coverage needed. My BB cream shades are also mixed on the cushion. I don’t put a lot of product on the cushion at once. Just enough for a day or two. The cushion stays saturated but not swimming.It’s interesting the compact colors have different prices. I got a black one from memebox and from Amazon, choose the least costly color available. Solid feel in the hand. Nice that refill puffs and cushions are available with little effort.

There are instructions in youtube how to load on this.You also have to put some on the top every time you are using it, which I am still learning to do. Without adding on the top, I haven't achieved to make my watered-down foundation to seep it thru the form from the bottom yet. I find soaking the entire form with the amount I can prepare on the container before replacing the form is not enough. I pre-soaked my form in Aloe Juice, hoping the already watered down liquid foundation would draw up better this way. Not- When I also tried to put more than the recommended amount of liquid mixture before re-reloading the form hoping the form soaks it up, the liquid mixture unexpectedly spilled from the side. I guess I wasn't gentle enough. For this reason, I gave 4 stars.Other than that, this does what I expected to do. I can pat down liquid foundation on my face for re-touch-ups. Trying to spread foundation my entire face with this takes too long. I can also mix between shades for the between seasons in a smaller portion as well.

I have had a mint one of these going strong several years now. It's my daily driver for a custom foundation or BB cream mix, and it has traveled with me on several business trips and vacations. I just bought a black one to try it with sunscreen and other products.This black one appears to be the same as my old mint one, so I'm hoping it lasts just as long! No cracks in plastic or discoloration on my original one. I've successfully washed the inside sponge multiple times like I wash my makeup brushes. I've only replaced the little rubycell puff several times and that's it! Amazing little compacts.

I purchased the product and filled it up with my foundation right away and used it for a day. And the day I started using, the case closure isn't working from the Day 1. This is more like a courteous question to the the team to send me a replacement of the product since I already filled it up with my foundation. Can the team get back to me on this?

I will split this review into the 4 components in order of most to least liked: outer case, applicator, sponge, inner case1 The outer case is adorable! Fits very well in hand, good plastic, and the mirror is very good (remember to remove the plastic film). 5/52 applicator works very well, and I love the little logo on the ribbon. This one actually pressed product into the skin better than the competitor one I have as comparison. But it is a minor difference (I work in cosmetics so I do notice these, most lay people might not feel a difference). 5/53 sponge is flat type, as opposed the kind which has hexagons cut into it. This is *personal* preference, I do prefer the cut ones as they deposit more product onto the applicator when pressed. No complaints if you prefer flat sponge. Not rating because this is personal preference.4 inner case is the WORST. When I first opened it, I notice that it does not click upon closing. I actually ordered two of these, and noted this is both of products. Initially I thought it was maybe the lack of a little 'hook' that engages when you press the lid down (I ordered another compact from a different brand). But in both of these compacts of this product, my foundation is visibly drying out! 0/5!!CONCLUSION: Very cute, but inner case is absolutely useless. The fact that the inner case dries out your foundation, it defeats the whole purpose of this product So, is the outer compact that much that you would purchase another compact just to switch it out? The sponge difference (again, personal preference) is minor/tolerable.Personally, I'm not going to be returning this because I have other cushion compacts that I have swapped out the inner case. But for prospective buyers, I would consider the cost of this product the $14 PLUS cost of a different case (the other one I bought was $10, and it came with 2 extra sponges and 4 extra applicators on top of what is in the compact itself!).

I absolutely love this item! I got the pink one. I use lancome foundation, and seeing as it's expensive and in a glass bottle I wasn't too keen on traveling with it. So I bought this so then I wouldn't have to worry about trying to pack my foundation. This was super handy and amazing while on my recent trip to Disney world. I didn't mix any products, but will keep this in mind the next time I need to mix products before going on a trip.Would love to see a smaller one for products (like concealor) that don't need as big of a compact. Because to be honest I was expecting this to be smaller.
