You can do it by yourself!
Easy to install, looks great should be standard equipment. Battery cover needs a hole cut. I still think it's the best until they come up with a one strut system. Other car manufacturers have a one strut system.

Good product!
Very easy to install. Only downside I see is the paint on the bolt on the car comes off because of the socket wrench. Otherwise works great!

Struts do not compress.
Hood struts came in completely rock hard. They do not compress what so ever even when my 200lbs self is on top of them trying to close them. Nearly bent the hood trying to close them 100% DO NOT PURCHASE ZERO QUALITY. WASTE OF MONEY.

Operates well.
Although operates well, it was difficult to install. Had to remove the lock tabs to install, but was difficult to re-attach the lock tabs once the rod was in place.

Disappointed
Thoughtless design... when product is installed, the hood dosen't align. Hood in closed position is raised 3/16" over top of hinge because you layered the new plate over the existing hinge plate.Brilliant...
