I had the 2014 iPad Air 2 until this year, and I loved the sleek case with folding cover-to-stand I used with that iPad. I recently bought the iPad (5th gen) and I shopped around on Amazon looking for a similar case, but with consideration for the Apple Pencil. I compared a bunch of options and noticed that there weren’t many cases that completely covered the iPad Air’s edges. And of the options that offered full edge protection, many seemed to be cheap elastic material. I decided to order this case based on other reviews and the low price.I’m very happy with the “snug” fit so far. The case fits perfectly to my iPad. I’m not planning to do any drop tests, but iPad now feels protected from accidental edge bumps and I feel comfortable traveling with it in my backpack.The Apple Pencil fits in the slot perfectly, and the addition of the slot doesn’t make the whole thing feel clunky. It feels and looks like a sleek case.It’s totally worth the price!

Easy to use, good value for the money.

Overall, the case is good with a matte/smooth front and a more plastic/hard shell back. My iPad Air 4 fits perfectly and securely, and so does the Apple Pencil 2 (it charges), but if you get a cover for your pencil it won’t fit but instead sit on top of the magnetic opening. My only gripe is that my iPad does not lock or unlock when I open or close the case, which can be annoying. Sometimes it will unlock or lock but rarely, therefore I have to keep using the button. Despite this, it’s a sturdy case that protects the iPad and helps prop it up when you're working or watching. If you’re on a budget I recommend getting it, but it may not lock/unlock your iPad.

Very impressed with this very inexpensive but seemingly well made case. It has wake/sleep and a secure slot for Apple Pencil 2 that also charges. I bought this as a temporary case for iPad Air 4 so I could get one later that would be presumably better quality but more $$. Given how good the case is, will not bother looking for better.

I bought this almost two years ago and my iPad is still going strong thanks to this case.

I previously purchased a different case on Amazon that was similarly priced but returned it because the pencil holder area because loose and bendy after just a few days. Bought this one instead and it feels much sturdier. The fit is nice and snug- however, it does seem almost a little snug around some spots and kind of "pulls" itself off the iPad just a little bit in one spot. It never actually comes off, just exposes a little bit of the iPad edge. Pushing the case into place enough times seems to have resolved the problem though.

I feel great about this case as it relates to look and durability. I especially like the pocket for the pencil and the little storage hole to put the pencil in while in use. Very satisfied for the money paid.

I researched a lot of cases and this one fit the bill! Glad I purchased this one as it fits perfectly.
