Inconsistent Length
Overall the Graphite pencil seems sturdy, it comes wrapped ina plastic sleeve to keep your hands clean while writing with it. The problem I found was in ordering three of the pencils two came in at 4 5/8" (about 12 cm) and the other was only 3 1/2" (about 9cm).Even the 3 1/2" Pencil should last a long time, but now knowing the other two are over an inch longer it makes me wish they had all been the same size. It isn't even just a QC issue since the smaller pencil also came in a smaller bag.

Great replacement pencil
Great little replacement pencil for my wetnotes. The full graphite design means that there's no wood that will split and drop your "lead". Also makes for very easy sharpening with a dive knife.

Over-priced, but great performance.
The pencil works great. The writing on a slate is nice and dark. It doesn't become water-logged like a wooden pencil. It erases easily from a slate with a little toothpaste or a magic eraser. The bungee cord is good quality and firmly attached. I deducted a star in my rating because at over $5 it is over-priced. Get the price down to $2.99 and it would be a 5 star product.UPDATE: The price went up more than $1 since last month. Way over-priced now. And as another reviewer commented they are arriving in different lengths even in the same order. Some are much longer than others. Not that big a deal because you can pull the cap off and shorten it on the back end and then replace the cap, but their quality control has obviously gone downhill. Love the pencil and hate the price.
