Creative Co-Op Metal Scalloped Edge Table with Zinc Finish and Wood Top

This is an amazing table. Easy to put together. The metal decorative detail and the let's are sturdy and beautiful. The wood top is thick and not flimsy. I almost loved the raw wood bottom of the wood better than the painted grain of wood that was to be the normal side of top. I have used as a tall night stand. I have a tall master bed so finding a night stand that is unique and also tall enough and doesn't cost a fortune is hard to find. This was perfect. I plan to put wood planks on bottom to allow for baskets for storage.

I purchased this small table to put plants on in our living room. She fits right in with all the other furnishings and adds some pizzaz with the decorative apron. Love the look. Would have preferred her to be slightly shorter, but she works. Also, I have the unfinished side face up on the top, works better in our room. The plants are happy and so am I.

The table is cute enough, but I had to modify the top just a bit. The engineered wood top was not as rustic looking as the galvanized metal skirt. I took a bit of sand paper to it and it looks much better now. Also, while I assembled it in about 3o minutes, I found the instructions lacking. No written instructions, just pics. Didn't quite know where the holes were to screw the top on. All and all, it looks great in my farmhouse style home.

This is a nice looking table that was a breeze to put together as I had none of the problems other have had with holes not alligning or missing hardware. For the price I paid on Prime day I would say it’s a good buy but I would have been upset at the price it’s currently listed for. The wooden table top is that laminated wood- it’s adequate but very obviously engineered. The painted galvanized steel is beautiful- but not extraordinarily sturdy. This would be a great outdoor table for plants but it looks a little cheap next to my other real wood indoor furniture. It really is such a unique piece though so I will gladly find a spot for it that makes sense.One other note - there is a chemical odor straight out of the box that smells like paint or varnish - it dissipated rather quickly once assembled and away from the box. It no longer bothers me but that might not be the case for all so I wanted to mention it.

Received today. Packaging was very good, pieces well protected. Table was easy enough to put together. Wood top did not have markings to align to the base before attachment. You’ll need a power screwdriver to attach the top. Finishes are very unattractive. The inside of the legs are white while the exteriors are matte brown with intentional gold scratch marks. Basically ugly. The scallop edge apron of the table is just ok, does not look like a distressed zinc metal…..I know because I have other real distressed zinc pieces. I am painting the legs black and going rub in a gunmetal paint to the scallop apron to give it a more authentic look. I also added foot pads on top of the ones provided because one pad was recessed and the foot would have scratched my wood floors. I will add before and after photos once paint is added. It’s an ok piece, I will make it much better. Note: AFTER photo added with legs painted black and soft metallic rubbing added to the apron; stained the top. I used the distressed wood side of the top up as the finished side was a horrible inexpensive veneer.

This table was so very charming when it was on the Magnolia website, but — trust the reviews — it looks better in photos than it does in person. Had I put mine together first, I wouldn’t have sent two as gifts. Wait for a sale, because, for the quality, they are overpriced at full price. The assembly instructions were drawings rather than written words. Nonetheless, it was easy to assemble and came complete with allen wrench, a double ended wrench to tighten the screws and zip-tie straps to attach the unit to a wall in order to prevent toppling of the table, should, say, a child try to climb on it. Nice touch. It would work well in a potting shed or garden room.

Needed a small table to use as a laundry folding table. This table is perfect for that. It’s very pretty, easy to assemble and is sturdy! I plan to add a board at the bottom, very easy to do, wish they had done this. But have no complaints. Definitely recommend.
