Good quality soldering iron
I first bought one of these a couple of years ago for work and it has consistently worked great. I ended up buying a second one for home recently because a different-brand soldering iron that I had at home stopped working after just a couple of weeks of use. Heats up quickly. Maintains heat well. Would definitely buy again (and did, in fact, buy a second time when I needed one at home after having one of these at work). My only complaint is that it can be a little tough to see what temp the notch on the knob is pointing to because the notch isn't a different color, but I solved that by coloring in the notch with a metallic sharpie that I had laying around.

Used it on a truck wiring repair. Nice sturdy iron, hope it lasts.

I bought this but stopped working after a couple of uses, but the company send me another one for free lets see how long that one will work for, but when the product works well IMO.

Same as a Hakko for a better value 8 out of 10
The solder machine is great, thermals are a bit unstable, some reviews will or have read as unreliable, but I can comfortably say the temperatures are in fact accurate, the issue is the temperatures do not stay at the adjusted values, so will increase the temps, only to overheat things, so you’ll have to adjust back down, still it is better than most on the market right now for a reasonable price, plus the issue does go away and doesn’t come back.As for the accessory, the station, what a cheap, POS! It broke as I was screwing it onto the machine, so I had to buy another, do me a favour, instead of buying the machine with the station, just buy the machine, the station is cheap, it’s like the station machine combo pack you get from Hakko.Speaking of which, Hakko vs Yihua; for the value, Yihua wins, but for the quality, Hakko wins, Hakko is using way better plastic, as for the performance, they are tied, they both give you an unstable temperature at the beginning, but then they bith just work.So overall I would give this what I would have given the Hakko soldering station if it was reasonably priced, it is an “8 out of 10.” This the same as a Hakko soldering machine, but better, because it has a much better price.

Not digital so there is less to go wrong
Soldering gun works well. The transformer is rather heavy and well made. The gun holder attaches to the top of the transformer with a screw so it will not come off. It heats up quickly so I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Doesn't come with helping hands or wire spool.
I used cheap soldering irons for years. Like real cheap. Like $2.99 at on sale at Fry's. I'd buy three or four. When I finally decidedto upgrade, this soldering station was one of the cheaper, more equipped options in the Amazon store. So far I'm very happy with the purchase. It's such a pleasure to have temperature adjustment however without a readout it takes a while to get to know where you need to dial in the heat. Unfortunately, this version also did not come with either a wire dispensing arm or two helping hands. This was stated but didn't really register with me until it showed up. Oh well. My only other complaint is that the soldering iron holder which mounts atop The unit does not lock into place very securely and could be a hazard. It's falling off mine a few times and I had to glue it to the unit.Otherwise it's pretty good I'm not really complaining that it's a big major upgrade for me maybe talk to somebody that's been you that's used to having you know several hundred dollar machine and they probably have a lot of complaints. I don't know.just want to mention I'm watching the super bowl right now and Tom Brady is the man. He is the man. G.O.A.T. No more debate. It's just a fact.

Awesome!
I love this solder station. It heats up very quickly, has an assortment of different size tips and built-in tip cleaner. Yes, as others have complained about, the top tray does not stay in place. I fixed that with some good glue that's available from Amazon, SCIGRIP 10315 16 Acrylic Plastic Cement. A minor inconvenience that doesn't deserve a star deducted. If needed, I would buy this solder station again.
