HatShield Flip Baseball Cap Face Shield

I just want to say that this is the most comfortable face shield I've ever used. It's lightweight, it's easy to wear, and does it's job well.My job requires a face shield for protection from splashing liquids, so I've tried may different types of face shields because the company provided one was so uncomfortable. It was also impossible to wear with a hat. The main drawbacks of all the ones I've tried before was if I set them down I would sometimes walk away and forget to put them back on. Also that they required removal to talk, drink or eat. The best things about this shield is because of the flip-up design, it allows talking, eating or drinking easily. I can wear my hat. Another plus is that because of being attached to my hat, it is always with me and there for me to use. It makes it easy to be protected at all times.That being said, the weakness of this product is this. Like other reviews for this product have pointed out, the fit on the bill of your hat may be loose. I found that this is due either to the thickness or width of the bill. I tried it on a number of my hats (Of which I have many) and found if the bill is too thin or too narrow it will fall off easily. The thickness of the bill being the most important factor. Thankfully it works on most of my hats.So in conclusion, this is I product I would highly recommend. It is comfortable to wear. It makes it easy to always have your face protection with you. And it is lightweight. Just be mindful that in order to have a proper fit that the bill of you hat needs to be thick and wide enough for it to grab onto. Not all hats are made equal.

This is a good option for a face shield, which also flips up, but the brim of the hat needs to fit inside the arch. If it is too wide, you cannot attach it fully and it can flop right off. You can add some clear double sided tape out of sight to help keep it in place though. Really lightweight and that helps if you are prone to migraine. The shield is clear and doesn't have more than the average reflection for glare. Overall, it's a pretty good product, especially if you have a large enough ball cap collection to find a perfect fit.

Super lightweight and keeps the debris from hitting your face. It can have a lot of reflection on the inside but that doesn’t really bother me much. I like that I can wear my FM radio ear protection without straps or visors in the way. Not real sturdy for the money, and it will slip off on thinner hat bills, but I take care of several properties, and I’ve used it many hours doing heavy duty weedeating and am extremely happy with it. Will be using it all day tomorrow. I recommend this product and will be purchasing a backup. 👍👍👌

This was easy to put on hat but the weight on the bill of the hat keeps pulling the hat down on my face even though i have the hat adjusted to fit well on my head. The idea if the product is good but its just too heavy. I never use it anymore.

I love this thing! I bought three different types of clear face shields that I could connect directly to my hats & this one is by far my favorite of the three! I have no complaints other than how quickly it gets scratched up & then hard to see out of. It could use some sort of thin, clear lining on the outside of it to keep it protected from scratches...or at the very least offer extra(s) of the clear shield part since they can be easily attached to the hat clamp thing. I wanted to purchase a few more of only the plastic clear part, but I can’t seem to find just that part available. Anywhere I could order that without the hat clamp thing? I very much like how easy it is to attach to my hat, just simply slide it on & back off. So far, I have noticed zero damage done to any of my hats, so that’s a big plus! Some are even wool, corduroy, & other different materials, so I was pleased to see all showed no sign of wear & tear from sliding the mask on & off numerous times through the day. It gives me just a slight extra feeling of safety, which is obviously desired at a time like now! Oh one quick note to anyone who might be thinking of purchasing his though, just a heads up that this really only works with your normal sized hat. I have not tried with a bigger billed hat, but I do think it would work with that. I tried it with a smaller billed hat though & the clamp part that slides onto the bill was too big for it. Maybe offer a couple sizes of this thing? That’d be sweet.

The concept of the product is good. But it definitely needs some refinement.In it's current iteration, it is wholly unusable.There needs to be some kind of support that runs along the face shield for support and maintaining the proper curve of the shield itself, there needs to be a better hinge system since the rubber washers only kind of hold the shield in place. Worst of all, the wrong kind of plastic is used for the shield itself, it is WAY too reflective causing dangerous reflections (that's if you can stand wearing it long enough to even get into a dangerous situation.The bracket fit the bill of my hat well, and I like the idea of the product, it's just unusable in it's current form.

The media could not be loaded. I like that I can wear a ball cap to work as part of my PPE. The flip feature is the whole reason to have this thing. It's a game changer. All my coworkers are so jealous I have to lock it up when I leave the lab so no one uses it while I'm gone. Buy this face shield!!!!Chris

The band itself is genius. The plastic they give you is like looking thru a cloudy window. That is unacceptable. The most I can say is I will use their band with plastic I purchase that actually is clear not cloudy.
