Femme Flora Rebuilt My Microbiome – Consistent Results After IVF and Hormone Changes
I swear by Femme Flora. After three years of IVF treatments and all the hormonal ups and downs, my vaginal microbiome was completely out of balance—not to mention the chronic UTIs that came with it.When I first started using Femme Flora two years ago, I committed to two full weeks of consistent use, even though it’s a little pricey. It is absolutely worth it. I now test my vaginal microbiome monthly due to chronic UTIs (which I am almost at the tailend) and still being in the trenches of IVF, and my results consistently show high levels of healthy Lactobacillus and zero bad bacteria—something I wasn’t able to achieve before. Now that I’m in maintenance mode, I use Femme Flora for a couple of days right after my period to quickly restore balance and/or once a week or every other week to maintain strong supportI’ve tried just about every vaginal probiotic and supplement out there, and this one works best for me. It’s specifically designed for vaginal health and has made a major difference in keeping everything stable and resilient, without irritation. If you’re recovering from hormone shifts, dealing with recurring UTIs, or just want to maintain a strong, healthy vaginal microbiome, Femme Flora is absolutely worth keeping in your routine. Highly recommend!

This product is a Godsend
If you are struggling with recurring BV, please read. I spent years figuring this out and now I'm the proud owner of a fully healthy, clear, sweet vagina.First of all, these work. Second, buy some good ole regular hydrogen peroxide at the store and some bottles of filtered water. If you have recurring BV then I'm pretty confident this will change your life.I struggled for a couple years before I knew what was going on: fishy smell during sex that totally threw me off (like, what's that smell? is that ME? oh my god *cue panic*.....).....irritated, unhappy feeling vagina every month post-ovulation (nothing extreme or overt, just a little hot/ dry/ slightly itchy feeling...to the point where I knew something was off).....when I would retrieve some discharge from way up there with my fingers and smell it (yea I did that cuz I was paranoid about BV constantly returning) it smelled like bad breath. Not good. And it looked tacky and glue-y and sticky. I knew something was off. By the way, wash your hands thoroughly every time you stick your fingers up there. There are all types of bacteria on your hands in any given normal moment and you don't want to introduce them up there.First. A word on Boric acid: I used to think this was the solution. Until I realized it was quite literally (as another Amazon poster put it) a "coochie bomb". I was "bombing" my vagina several times a month to keep the bacterial imbalance "at bay." But it never worked long term and in fact over time it seemed to make things worse. Boric acid would make me clear and fresh again...but suspiciously so....my vagina smelled and tasted like water......not a vagina....and within 48 hours the bad-breath mucus-y discharge was back stronger and faster than ever. I knew it was not the solution. In retrospect, my instincts were right.....the boric acid was cleaning EVERYTHING out of my vagina, both good and bad bacteria. I was infuriated to be told my a doctor that "there is no evidence that Boric acid kills the beneficial bacteria".....sooooo boric acid is sophisticated enough to go up there and not only distinguish among the different types but react differently to each one??? Riiiiight......ladies BEWARE OF MISLEADING LANGUAGE!!! "There is no evidence that X does Y" literally just means "we haven't even checked if that's true, therefore no evidence technically exists." Boric acid WILL kill the good bacteria too, and this is BAD for your vagina, VERY bad!All along doctors have led us to focus on the wrong treatment approach for BV. They want us to eat antibiotics for breakfast and constantly feel that we are dirty and need to get clean..... but to truly beat BV you have to ADD BACTERIA, NOT SUBTRACT IT!!!Enter vaginal probiotic suppositories. I was shocked at how difficult it was to find any online. I searched for hours and kept getting "women's probiotics" that you take orally, that supposedly help with vaginal bacteria, but FloraFemme was the only probiotic vaginal SUPPOSITORY I could find. There was one other brand but it they had parabens in them (cancer-causing) which I would never put in my vagina. So thank you FloraFemme.I tested positive for BV (gardnerella) and ureaplasma in early November. I used one bottle of FloraFemme (one suppository each night for 6 nights in a row) and then tested negative for everything 2 weeks later. Now for the maintenance piece......HYDROGEN PEROXIDE: FUN FACT: the good bacteria in your vagina produce hydrogen peroxide naturally!!! This is how they help to keep bad bacteria away! So, introducing more HP into your vagina is not anything foreign (like boric acid)--it's *supposed* to be there! HP actually IS sophisticated enough to leave the good bacteria unharmed while killing the bad, and it's so cheap!PROCEDURE: get a clean cup, a water bottle, and a bottle of regular HP from the store. Use the water bottle cap to measure out 3 cap fulls of water into the cup, then measure 3 cap fulls of HP into the same cup. Swirl to mix. Wash your hands thoroughly with frangrance-free soap. Then use your fingers to put the mixture up your vagina as far as you can. Spread it all around the walls of your vagina with your fingers like 10 times. Do this after *every time* you have sex, AND every Monday, Wednesday Friday. The reasoning behind the MWF schedule is that if you don't have sex for a while, you will still remember to HP your vagina. The HP keeps your pH low, where it should be. In the case of vaginal care, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!!! Do not let the pH run away from you. The more you can keep it low, the better. Once it starts to creep up, you'll need to work overtime to stop the momentum from turning into BV again. Stay on top of it, it will be worth it! Be religious about it! THIS WORKS!!! For the first time in years, I am testing negative for everything, it felt so good to get that call "your culture results were 100 percent normal." I saw the lab paperwork myself---NEGATIVE all the way down!!! FINALLY!!!

Sorry to need to write this but . . . I had great expectations for this product after reading the voluminous successful reviews. I am sorry to say it did not work for me. Six months ago I used a different one, not being secretive I can't remember the name of that product. Anyway, it work like magic. This time I thought I'd go with what SHOULD be the best if price was any indication. It WAS NOT! With in ten days I was back where I was when beginning this product. How disappointing. I noted the numerous complaints concerning the fact there is no applicator! Really, Ladies!!! To me, and yes I realize each of us is different with different sensitivities; this fact made absolutely NO difference, in fact I prefer it that way. Why? you ask? It is so easy to tell if you have implanted the little pill way up where it belongs. So much easier. The applicator will 'probably' do the job but how will you know if the pill is at the top of your vagina? You can't unless you stick your finger up there to find it. So might as well use your finger to begin with. Heavens know this is not a pleasant, enjoyable or fun activity. I just wanted to get all those darned pills up there and be done with it! My previous product had an applicator which I used only twice for that very reason - knowledge of where the pill was. Both times, and as careful as I was, the pill refused to remain in the tiny, too tiny place it needed to be to be planted any where in the vagina. And I was unaware it, the pill, had fallen out of the tiny place it had to be. Leaving that pill just 'anywhere' is not the best planting place - the top of the vagina IS the preferred location too leave it. SO, how can you tell where it is unless you use your finger. I checked and it was very close to the bottom and I'd thought it was at the very top. Since this happened twice, I gave up and gladly began to use my finger. The above is merely my opinion and, as is said all too frequently, I have no association with or connection to or am being paid (thank goodness as they would not be happy with me about now!) by the manufactures of FloraFemme. It was nothing more than my thoughts on 'the lack of an applicator' issue. The lack of an applicator had no bearing on my decision to purchase this product. None at all. It IS your own body, you know! Now, if only I could remember or see the one I previously bought. Sorry but, no - it was not bought on Amazon. Teach me!
