Good product, should be standard in Florida installations
Pretty simple to install, added one to both of my AC units after I lost a X13 motor control unit. Power in Florida is notoriously fickle - everyone should have one of these (plus order a spare to keep on hand). However if you get this and are at all unsure how to wire it up (this particular one isn't quite plug and play, you do have to look at your existing writing to get it right) please call your AC guy to come out and drop it in for you. It won't cost much and it's better to do that than to shoot yourself in the foot and wire it wrong.

Motor / $ saver
It is something that we are using on all of the installation we do. I got this for my personal furnace and it was a lot less than what we pay at the supply house. And it isn't the easiest to install but if you use the heat shrink, you shouldn't have any issues.

Apprehensive about device
Plugged wires on device into motor wiring harness, double checked connections, turned on power and motor protector immediately shorted out internally. I checked my connections again and they appeared correct so I removed the device, reconnected motor harness to motor and I was thankful motor still worked. To apprehensive to try again on new $800 motor

I believe it's working.
Installation was easy. I think it is doing its job. If it saves the motor from a surge it will be well worth it.I had to replace the motor once before buying this protection device, my HVAC company charged over 400 to put it in. The motor was covered under mfg warranty but only if installed by a HVAC pro. I could have put the motor in myself but then I would have to buy the motor (catch 22) . Next time, hopefully i will just have to replace this sacrificial lamb.

Good part, wrong description.
Item did the job but it is NOT the plug in kind. Required wiring.

Not working for X-13 motor and refuse to return/refund. I'm screwed. :(((((((((
This VZPRO surge protector is not compatible with my Endura/Genteq 3/4HP ECM motor. Surely it has 3 pins,not compatible with X-13 Endura/Genteq ECM motor at all. When I have to return it, they responded once to the email and never bounced back. For a Prime purchase, I have never seen anything like this in my 6 years as an Amazon Prime owner. This vendor just wants to get your money and never have anything to do with you anymore.
