This 40-cup water filter dispenser is a huge upgrade and truly fantastic. The water filters extremely well and in a timely manner. I made sure to follow the instructions that came with it precisely, and the system works flawlessly, delivering clean water quickly. The large capacity is the absolute game-changer for me. I previously had a 28-cup model, and I constantly had to fill it up at least twice a day, which quickly became a chore. The 40-cup size drastically cuts down on refilling time, making it much more convenient for daily use. I am also very impressed with the shape. Despite holding 40 cups, the design is surprisingly compact and fits perfectly in a variety of spaces without taking up an excessive amount of space—it’s very well thought out. I had recently stopped using my old dispenser because it developed a frustrating amount of hard water buildup that I couldn't scrub off and that kept reappearing for the spots I could scrub off. I had resorted to drinking tap water again and completely forgot how different filtered water truly tastes. This new dispenser has reminded me how much better and cleaner filtered water is. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for high capacity and excellent filtration.

We’ve have this for about a month now and we are both very pleased with the amount of water it holds and the taste of the water. It tastes like maybe one step down from bottle water but much better than straight from the tap. Out of the many other brands of filters we tried over the years we both think this one tastes the best for the price. It fits well in our fridge. I think the spout pours decently fast, no complaints there. It filters quickly, but I always try to let it chill for a few minutes for better taste. We use 40 and 30 oz cups and when the tank is fully filled we can refill our cups about 3 or so times each before needing to refill the tank. This is so much more convenient than smaller filters where one refill is one cup worth essentially, and it gives the extra water time to chill. Make sure to let the filter soak before using, I believe it says 10 minutes but I did about 30. Also of course wash the entire system before using. I wash ours every Sunday with scent free soap. I notice no smell from the tank or the water. For weight, it is very light even when fully filled. I think for a child or someone with less mobility it may be heavy and easy to drop. But the weight distribution due to its handle positions helps a lot. Overall this is the best filter we’ve gotten in many years. I will update once the filter needs to be replaced and if anything changes. Water tastes great, it doesn’t run out every 5 seconds, and it fits well in the fridge. I recommend trying it out!

I think this dispenser is great! It fits in my fridge well so I can have cold water, and its capacity is outstanding. I drink water constantly throughout the day, and it's nice to have a dispenser that doesn't need to be refilled after every dispense. The instructions to set up were straightforward, and there have been no issues or leakages since I started using it. The water tastes great to me; the filter does a great job, and I believe it will last a long time.

Easy to assemble and use. Better than a pitcher as this holds a high capacity of water. Perfect for filling up water straight from the fridge. The filters last a long time before noticeable change in taste. I typically change the filter once I've put about 200 gallons (100-150 fills) of water thru it, not when the filter replacement indicator tells me to. Although the filters are highly effective at removing contaminants and taste, they are not fast at filtering. Waterdrop recommends removing the filter and shaking it to improve filtering speed. This sometimes works for the next couple fills but always slows down again in my experience, even with new filters. Not a dealbreaker but occasionally annoying when I am out of water and need to wait.

Love our water filter as the tasted of water is so much better where we live at. Easy to install and get the system set up. We keep it in our fridge, and we drink quite a bit of water between the 2 of us and the 2 dogs, so we do have fill it up about every other day. The system let's you know when you have to change the filter as there is a little button on top (it actually counts the days for you...interesting). Blue light indicates to keep going; red light indicates you have to change it. When you install the new filter, you do have to run water through it to properly get those things inside cycled through.

I purchased this water filter back in October to replace our old (and smaller) Brita filter. Since then, my husband and I have been very, very happy with this purchase. - Great tasting water - Easy to clean - Great capacity - Sleek design - Not very heavy when fully filled - Works exactly as described - Looks exactly as pictured - Sensor is very useful We purchased this back in October 2025, and about 3 weeks after our purchase, our sensor stopped working probably because one of us walked away and accidentally overfilled the pitcher. I only reached out to them the first week of January 2026 (shout out to my amazing ADHD lmao) to request if it was possible to have a replacement sent. They responded to my request within an hour and then by the following day, had already prepared a replacement to be mailed. Within two days, I had a tracking number. In addition that, they also offered to send me two new filters as well. I truthfully didn’t expect anything since it was my fault for waiting so long, but am so incredibly blown away by how amazing and fast the customer service was. I cannot recommend this filter enough based on the product alone, but now with this customer service experience? I don’t think I’ll ever buy another brand again, and I’m usually someone who is not brand loyal.

Durable

It does filter water well. However, it's becoming a chore to continuously fill the container and then put water in fridge. As well, it is so light in weight, even with a rubber mat under it, it slides around too easily when you use the spout. I am going to return and get a under sink filter to attach to my cold water line. One less step to follow to get water into fridge

It is easy to install ang easy to replenish water as there is a sliding door on top. The filter (replacement) though is quite expensive

It feels happy to drink crystal water
