I messed up when I bought my Formuler Z11 Pro Max unit, buying the one with the IR remote by accident. I then decided to purchase this separate & could not be happier. My Sony 90 series Bravia won't connect on the IR remote for volume control at all for whatever reason, and I tried numerous times. This Bluetooth remote is absolutely sweet & combined with the app on the device it is easy to set up. Volume and all works perfectly fine on the unit no problems, and pressing both buttons turn at the top turns on the TV, soundbar & the box, and just pressing the top right button shuts all 3 down. If you are in market for the Formuler you will most likely want to ensure to get this BT1 remote with it as it is rock solid, user friendly and most compatible with your devices. I still have my IR as a spare to put in another place in living room for more access so it's not a bad thing. Very highly recommended.

I desperately wanted to love this product as I can't stand the new Google Chromecast for Google TV remote. It's too tiny and no numeric keys etc. I read the negative reviews but put of desperation I ordered it any ways. The best part of the remote is that it looks good, but that's about it. Unfortunately for me the negative reviews were spot on. 1. Battery compartment is really big and springs are short for AAA batteries but that is kind of fixable by stretching the springs. 2. It does connect to my Google Chromecast via Bluetooth. 3. After connecting only Up, Down, Left and Right key works along with back and home button. The most important button which is OK button would not work. 4. No app on Google store for this remote so I was unable to reprogram the keys. So only buy if you are replacing existing remote to be used with Formuler media player only. For rest of the folks just skip it. I wish someone made a decent bluetooth remote that would work with Google Chromecast or other media players.

Our original remote never worked very well. Seemed like we were always double or triple pressing, aiming etc. This remote works perfect. It has made our viewing experience so much better. The only thing the instructions don't tell you is that you must go to Formuler app store and download the app, not the play store or any other, the one on the formuler menu. Once we did that, it was cake to program!

Great for z11 pro, I bought two, but for Nvidia, shied is a normal controller, it has better options here

Awesome remote best I've ever had for my z8

First, the springs that retain the AAA batteries were too short, causing the remote to go dead when ya moved it. I stretched the springs and that fixed it. OK, got the remote paired with my TV easily, but was NEVER able to get the voice control to work (I have a Sony XBR). The box only mentions the remote's need for their App. But the app isn't available on Google Play Store. I went to the FormulerTV.com website, but there's no app to download... if there is it's hidden on the Turkish side of the website (the company is in Turkey I guess). After 24hrs the remote would no longer pair with my TV, so nothing worked. I lost 4 hours outa my life trying to get reasonable functionality out of this thing! Even if the unit hadn't died I'd have returned it cause I couldn't find their Android app that's supposed to match the remotes buttons to a particular TV model. If you want to see what insanity looks like, BTW, go to this manufacturer's website (FormulerTV.com) and try to find this remote's Android App. OMG!!

Parfait pour rendre accessible google home lorsque aucun autre appareil es à proximité. Fonctionne super bien et une très bonne alternative au google home intégré. J'aurais seulement pouvoir activé google en main libre. On doit absolument peser sur le bouton, hey google ne fonctionne pas.. Cotée signal, excellent! Pas besoin d'être dans la même pièce ou de pointer vers la console.

I got this remote to use with my LG OLED TV and nVidia Shield. It does not work properly with either one. If I pair it to my TV the back and power buttons don't work. If I pair it to my Shield then I cannot control the TVs volume. The remote clearly states "universal" on it, but this is a lie. This remote would be perfect if I could program the back, power and volume buttons. Unfortunately there is no way to program this remote without the Formuler Remote app which only works on Formuler STBs. I even tried side loading the remote app and it will not install on any non-Formuler box. So this is not a universal remote unless you buy one of their overpriced garbage STB boxes. It is a very shady business practice to call your product "universal" when you know it only works with your own overpriced products. I will not be buying any products from this company ever again.
