Great product and no 120 volt AC outlet required.
This is for all you ATV and UTV riders, I ordered this to keep my Polaris Sportsman 4 wheeler battery charged and ready to go at the drop of a hat. Got tired of having to charge the battery the night before riding or charge my spare then swap it out. The 4 wheeler is kept in a metal shed that has no power outlet and I must always run a cord to it unless its raining.Found this on Amazon for a great price but ordered a couple of extra products to go with it, like a heavy duty mounting bracket with 4 x 3" strong magnets to attach to the metal roof of the shed no need to drill holes. I also ordered 12 ft cable for the battery charger and the most import thing was the reverse polarity connector that came with the 12ft cable. You can buy the reverse polarity connector on amazon for little of nothing but it is a must have part. I have had my 4 wheeler hooked up for over a month now and its always fully charged. This kit cost $40.00 and is well worth the investment. Hope this was helpful.

Always charging even with bright overcast sky.
I have the solar panel inside of a south facing window in my garage in order. I just set the panel on the window sill facing out at a slight up angle. When I connect to the 24 series deep cycle marine style Interstate battery I have the LED comes on immediately. When the sun is shining (and even if it's overcast) the 2nd LED comes on too. I have never seen the 3rd LED which is intended to signal "charged" but the manual claims it's looking for a pretty high voltage in order to consider the battery charged (like 14.2 or something like that). I'm a little concerned about it over-charging but so far I am very happy with the performance of the panel and keeping the battery charged. My eventual plan is to connect it to the battery in an ATV that eats battery like crazy. If I don't start and run the ATV at least once every two weeks the battery is dead. The ATV is in a small garage on my hunting property and I don't get there but maybe once a month. Most of the time the battery is dead when I arrive so I have to jump it almost every time. I believe this panel/charger will solve my problem. Will update if anything goes poorly!

Works good but backwards polarity (on mine)
Seems to be working good. My travel trailer is stored under a shed at a storage unit and it doesn’t have any electrical outlets here but it does have plenty of sunlight up at the front. The only issue I had and this just could have just been the one I got is that the polarity on the sae quick connect cable coming out of the controller to the battery seemed to be reversed. Red was neg, black was pos. It wouldn’t work with the cable I already had coming out for my old battery tender so I used the one that came with this and it worked fine. When I plugged it into the one I had already had, the black cable coming off the control lined up with the red cable I had coming from the positive side of the battery. It took me a few minutes before I realized what was going on and I was about to return it. I guess I could have just switched mine up at the battery but then the colors would have been backwards and confusing if that makes sense. Bottom line if it doesn’t work for you then try using the sae quick connect cable that came with it and you’ll be fine.

Great 20W, 12V Solar Battery Charger
Great product that harnessed the power of the sun and charged the dead battery in my RV engine compartment. Review is for the SOLPERK Solar Panel Kit 20W 12V, Solar Battery Trickle Charger Maintainer. The battery was dead, no dash lights, no engine crank dead and the entry step would not move. My 2 house batteries were also dead. After my last camp trip in February, I carelessly let the RV batteries drain and when I tried to start months later, all batteries were drained. 6 days later, I was able to start the engine and let it run because of the solar charger. It may have charged the batteries enough to start sooner but I initially did not have the charger placed in full sun so on day 3, I moved the solar panel to the front of the RV, and on day 6 I decided to go check for life and was thrilled to be able to start/run the engine. Love the ease of use as well as the length of the cables which allowed me to try different placements and it is priced really well. I would recommend the product.

Definitely recommend. Works like a charm.
It worked for a while, then quit. Battery was not fully charged, panel still in full sunlight. Nothing seemed hot, nothing smelled burned. lights went dark Rechecked all connections and all seemed OK. Will try it again soon and see if it recovered.UPDATE: Tried it yesterday on the garden tractor and it performed flawlessly!! At this point 5 stars!! An amazing charger for the price!!

Excellent for simple 12v charging
Fantastic! I mounted the panel outside, ran the wire inside to the controller which I plugged into a relatively new 12v AGM car battery. The panel charged the battery up the first day and keeps it topped-off enough for the battery's current load, which is currently a 12v automotive LED that I mounted pointing at the ceiling of the kitchen. Makes a great night light in there that can run all night, every night. The plan is to set up the whole house with night lights in strategic areas so as not to need to use grid power to get around the house at night. Also plan to make a simple photosensitive on/off circuit so the system will be 100% maintenance free if desired. Great panel! Highly recommend. I'll be getting another to hook up to my car to keep its battery charged also. GO SOLAR!!!

Dimensions are wrong for 50W panel
Haven't used the item yet, but wanted to let others know that the dimensions in the description are way off for the 50W version. The description says 8" x 10", but it's really 22.5" x 17.7".I'll update with how well it works once I have it installed.
