I bought my wife a bottle of this gin for her birthday. I've never drank gin before, so I had a glass too. For me, it has opened my eyes to gin. Very nice drink. As for my wife, well it turns her in to a cougar. There used to be an advert on UK tv for Lion Bars, and a woman ate one then grabbed a man and he's left with his hair stood on end and all of his clothes torn to shreds. This is how I wake up the next morning after a night with a gin fuelled wife. She's an animal, and it's great. So, I would recommend you buy your wife some of this gin. We mix it with Schweppes lemonade, but it goes with all sorts really. I hear ginger ale is quite the mixer with gin. Have fun.

I was half expectingly this to be clawingly sweet, but it isn't, it retains the maximum amount of berry flavour you could hope without hitting unpleasant sweetness. I'm not sure I'd include raspberries in a "bramble" profile, but it seems all the distilleries include it in their bramble gin. I was expecting a purely hedgerow flavour of blackberries etc.

The flavour can be slightly artificial when drinking neat, but it's certainly flavourful and nice. When paired with other ingredients, even tonic, the flavour profile is wonderful and no residual of any "ester" based flavouring. Definitely recommend to lovers of Gin and Blackberrys alike.

We first bought a bottle in Oct 2020 when visiting Cardiff, It went down a treat and had a lovely smooth taste, very similar to sloe Gin. will buy again and they are lovely bottles perfect for up-cycling. Good value for money.
