This European bread is a good sub for Estonian rye
I like the taste as it reminds me of the Estonian Rye my folks would buy in Canada.

It is not 100% rye bread anymore!
I loved this bread when it was 100% rye bread - but now you are filling it with wheat flour, you lost me as a 6 year customer. I will no longer be purchasing your bread- I am sure you have enough customers to not really care about me. For years I proudly sent this bread around to individuals in this country because my grandfather grew up in Brooklyn and gourmet market is where the 100% rye came from. Thank you for your facilitation of that activity.

I was really disappointed! I'm Lithuanian
I was really disappointed! I'm Lithuanian, was born there and have visited there since growing up in America- and this is not Lithuanian bread. It is Russian rye, actually closer to pumpernickel. The label is in Russian and English- NOT in Lithuanian. Lithuanian Rye bread IS available online - it looks and tastes completely different from this bread - which is readily available at half the price at most any supermarket- just buy pumpernickel if you want a similar bread. I wish I had not wasted my money on this misrerepresented product.

Nice surprise
I ordered this for my mom who is from Riga Latvia, actually I was skeptical at first but it was actually pretty darn good and like from her home country! My only complaint is it took some time to travel to us so it was a pinch dry? Slathering butter on it fixed that quickly!

If you like rye bread that is hardy look no further.
A incredible tasting hardy rye (no seeds). Came fast and very fresh. Complements to the bakers, 100% satisfied. Will be ordering more...

Old and Dry Bread
It took a week to arrive. It is hard and not fresh at all. Extremely dry. So disappointed
