ASUS WAVE - ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING B550

Very nice motherboard and very good value for money. I have had no issues with this board and looks great aswell.

Works great for my needs vrms run cool under heavy load, more than enough fan headers, decent value when I got it on sale and includes a usb type c port which my old board was sorely lacking

I was going to give 3 stars, but then I realised that the information was in the documentation, but who reads all that prior to purchase Spec is rather good ( from my perspective ) , AM4 cpu, with two full length M2 connectors, 6 sata , plenty of ports on the back panel, and two graphics card slots + others, and so on BUT ( always a but ) If you use the two M2 slots, you will lose 4 sata connectors as they share the same bus on the board. Effectively you lose 4 onboard sata connectors. Quick fix to purchase an add on card with sata connectors, issue resolved So , lesson is , read the online manual prior to purchase, and buried in there, it does tell you that you will lose 4 sata ports if you plug in two M2 devices At least it was a simple remedy

It has been a while since my initial purchase and so far it has been decent motherboard. It's a nice looking motherboard, good for a white build with silver/metal accent. It is also Ryzen 5000 ready out of the box, the layout and components are definitely high quality. One thing to note is the logo does not light up as shown in the pictures, it's just a silver paint. Comes with decent amount of I/O USB port and the shield is integrated so a relatively easy installation. The only issue I have faced are the fan headers. There are only 3x Fan channel headers, one of which is right in the middle of the board next to a pump header/CPU. Very awkward placing and it should have been on the top, side or bottom. Another annoying thing is the max limit for the fan speed control, whereas it is locked and will run 100% at 75+ C. This is BIOS related but can be improved in future update. Newer Ryzen 5000 CPU can run up to 70-95C so It just means whenever the CPU temperature hits 75ish, it will ramp up all fans. This can not be changed in bios, it is a safety feature which sucks but would love to change the maximum limit higher to something like 85C instead. Ryzen 5800x or heavy OC would easily hit this temp, but for this build I am running a 5600x so not an issue provided you have decent cooling. I would love to see more ARGB headers since it only comes with one. There is hardly any white AM4 motherboards on the market and I was deciding between this or the B550 Gigabyte Vision D, but did not want to pay the extra £100 premium. As you can see, it matches well with the white theme so definitely worth considering!

Ho recentemente acquistato l'ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING per il mio nuovo PC da gaming e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto. Questa scheda madre offre una combinazione perfetta di funzionalità all'avanguardia, affidabilità e design accattivante perfetto per il mio case color bianco. Una delle prime cose che ho notato è stata la facilità di installazione. L'ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING è progettata in modo intuitivo, con posizioni dei connettori ben segnalate e layout generale ben organizzato. (inoltre con un ottima manualistica che aiuta anche i principianti in fase di montaggio). Anche l'interfaccia BIOS è user-friendly e semplice da navigare, consentendo un'efficace personalizzazione delle impostazioni. Il supporto per i processori AMD Ryzen garantisce una stabilità affidabile. Anche durante le sessioni di gioco intense, non ha mai mostrato segni di cedimento (GTAV, DOTA2, FORTNITE, ecc.) . La B550-A GAMING offre una connettività completa con numerose porte USB, slot M.2 (tra l'altro M2 4.0 che rendono il pc una vera e proprio scheggia nelle fasi di caricamento e accensione) e connettori SATA, consentendo una vasta gamma di opzioni di espansione e storage. Il design estetico è un altro punto di forza di questa scheda madre. Mi piace molto il suo colore bianco che si è intonato perfettamente con il mio case del medesimo colore. Il sistema di illuminazione Aura Sync di ASUS consente di personalizzare l'illuminazione RGB, ma la scheda madre ne è priva e non presenta nessun led. Quindi ottima però per controllare tutti gli altri dispositivi ARGB come ventole, dissipatori e ram. Devo sottolineare la qualità dei componenti utilizzati. è costruita egregiamente con materiali di alta qualità, che garantiscono a mio avviso una lunga durata e resistenza della medesima. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la dissipazione grazie ai suoi dissipatori posizionati nei vari punti della scheda, ottimo anche sull'M2, che mantiene le temperature sotto controllo anche durante le sessioni di gioco intense. In conclusione, l'ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING è una scelta eccezionale per gli appassionati di gioco che cercano una scheda madre affidabile e non troppo costosa. Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto a chiunque cerchi un'esperienza di gioco decente e stabile.

Sehr gutes Mainboard mit hochwertiger Verarbeitung und tollem Design. Der Einbau war einfach und alles wurde sofort erkannt. Läuft stabil und bietet viele Anschlüsse sowie gute Leistung für Gaming und Alltag. Auch optisch macht es richtig was her. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann es klar weiterempfehlen.

Inga konstigheter förutom en sak. När den ska användas första gången MÅSTE skärmen sättas på manuellt när datorn bootar up. Dvs ha inte skärmen på stand by-läge, då får man felmeddelande!!!

After 8 months of usage. I can say this is a solid motherboard for it's price, I bought it on sale of course. Stable memory ocing and PBO on my R5 5600x.It has thunderbolt support, bios flash back, 2.5gb lan usb 3.2gen2, all features which I am using without problems. Not having a wifi onboard is not really a feature I am missing out and to add extra100AED to have a mobo with onboard wifi is ridiculous for me. I am on lastest bios firmware and no problems whatsoever.

Świetna płyta, solidnie zrobiona, dobre sekcje zasilania. Radiatory na oba dyski m.2. Jeden slot pracuje w standardzie Gen4 z kc3000. Intuicyjny BIOS, oraz opcja fast boot znacznie przyśpieszająca rozruch. Z 5700x całość pracuje stabilnie i w normalnych temperaturach. Bardzo estetyczna maskownica. Dobra ilość portów i ich umiejscowienie. Możliwość wgrania BIOSU bezpośrednio z pendrive. Jednak ASUS robi porządne płyty, na moment uciekłem do konkurencji, ale po wielu problemach zwróciłem płytę i zakupiłem tą. Polecam
