Will heighten their vocabulary and yours
Really blown away and impressed with this book. I got the 5th and the 7th grade version. I recently ordered these as I am now a part of the homeschool community. The words are sure to broaden my kiddos vocabulary and mine haha, because there are words I don’t believe I knew existed! Really pleased with this purchase.

Wonderful addition
My oldest son needed extra help with his sight words and this was a nice find. It has lists of sight words and is categorized. Simple to use and read.

Every Kid Should Get One
A strong vocabulary is important, but it does not always get ranked among other school subjects. With this book series, you can help your kids close that gap. It helps make spelling more interesting to kids by grouping grade-level words into fun-themed lists. The book also covers the following:Covers essential spelling rules for fourth grade.Reinforces words used in other subjects like math and astronomy.Covers key words that kids tend to overuse by providing synonyms. If you want your kids to get even more out of this book, then get a dictionary and learn the definition of the words within a particular list. See the Beestar website for additional innovative reading exercises online. A good vocabulary is vital to reading and writing, so think about this book series. The spelling words book series covers grades 4 through 7. Collect them all.

Useless
Just gives u a random list of words without definitions. U are better off just flipping through a dictionary with ur kid. What a waste of money.

Cute concept... not the best words
They group the words by theme (e.g., weather) or spelling similarities (e.g., double letters, -ous).But a lot of words... 5th graders don't really need to know how to spell. It's kinda silly. There were many words I have never written in my life (and I am a writer!). It's a cute concept but not a good way to get spelling words for your 5th grader.
