these help to prevent clogs and odors, once a month install, no sweat at all.
I have used this type of product before and they appear to work as the sink drain is not clogged. I tried the Lavender scented one first and it smell nice and not overbearing. but you really do not smell the scent after it in the drain for a while. It easy to use open the package , take a stick out, remove the sink strainer and drop it in the sink drain. just be sure to drop the stick in between and drain cross pieces. once a month, seconds to install, and then a fresher and more free draining sink drain.

Ok
They work, but haven’t found a brand that can make the scent last longer than a couple of days. Gave it 4 stars for quick shipping and item delivered as described.

Helps to reduce odor 90%
For stinky bathroom drains, these little sticks work pretty well for reducing odors. They can eliminate the odor for a bit, but they're not going to remove serious plugs. I don't smell odors coming from the drain every time I use the bathroom sink after putting the sani sticks down the drain, but once-in-awhile, the odors are there again--so maybe it's time for another one. The ones I put down the shower drain seem to have done the trick.

No more sewer in the apartment
My kitchen sink drain smelled so awful it was as if I had an open sewer running through my apartment. Nothing I tried worked, like pouring chemicals, baking soda, vinegar, dishwashing liquid, taking apart the drain and scrubbing it out. So, i had to move, but before that, i gave these sticks a shot. Moly, they work well! I am amazed, delighted, and more. It took about 7 days for 100% odor removal.

Tested: does not dissolve in standing water after 30 days.
Review of:Sani Sticks, As Seen on TV Drain Cleaner and Deodorizer, Lemon Scent - 48 PackI really wanted these to work. After reading reviews left by people who claimed these did not dissolve, and instead ended up plugging their drains, I did a decidedly unscientific test.I placed one of these is a glass of water for 30 days next to the kitchen sink.I poured out the water every once in a while, and filled up the glass again. If a sink isn't used daily, these should at least dissolve if left submerged in water in 30 days.I shouldn't have to run a constant stream of hot water on them for a month for them to dissolve.End result: after about a day, the stick became soft and flexible, like a thick pasta noodle. There was no appreciable change in appearance during the next 29 days. The other 47 sticks have since joined the "wet noodle" in the garbage.I suspect that, in people whose drains this "works" in (I cannot attest to the other "benefits" this product advertised), they have enough water flow that, after it softens up, the noodle possibly breaks apart and gets washed down the drain, and does not cause a blockage at the insertion site. This could occur within a few days of insertion. To be fair, the description never said that the sticks dissolve. But I think they should, because if they get caught in the trap (as advertised) they will simply build up over time.P.S. In the attached photo, the noodle was whole until I moved it with a knife to get a better picture, then it broke apart, it seems to be brittle. It never broke apart with periodic dumping and refilling the container with water.A side note to people who feel the need to leave reviews:A review is more than 3 words.Tell us why it works, or why it doesn't.Keep in mind that my application and needs may be different than yours.I might even want to use the product in the manner that the manufacturer intended. (Crazy, I know!)Also: Punctuation and spell check.
