Once I cut it to fit and installed the product along the bottom of my metal exterior door, I used a rasp to round off the sharp edge of the product on the swinging side of the door, placing a paper towel under it to catch the filings and throwing it away afterwards. This took very little effort and I am happy with the final result!

I replaced the threshold for an exterior door that is directly exposed to the weather. I wanted to keep as much of the wet weather off of it as possible. This is the best that I could find for what I needed. My situation is more complicated because the door has an inward swing; therefore the sweep has to be positioned high enough to clear the high point of the threshold and also cut short enough to clear the door frame. It is much easier to install one of these when the door swings out. Overall I'm very happy with the results.

I put this on my basement door to help keep water penetration out and so it didn't make it inside the home. It is working quite well for the job I needed and I have not had anymore water coming it. I did put a small bead of caulk on the back surface before I screwed it to the door though just to make sure no water would run behind it.

Thought it was supposed to be attached with double sided tape. What I received is attached by screws which I could have purchased much cheaper.

Good product. Used to seal the bottom edge of outside doors to prevent wind and snow from coming in. I did follow the instructions and used a blow dryer to warm the surface of the door as the outdoor temperature was 30 degrees. It is still on nearly 1 year later. I will order again if I need to replace!

Exactly as described. Could not find this in my local home improvement stores. Good value and arrived on schedule.
