Update does not last more than a year.
Update November 2024. Bulbs did not even last 1 year. Installed last December and one already burned out. Also when removing the bulbs from headlight housing the glass bulb part fell off so it appears they were not crimped glued well to the metal bulb base to hold up to heat and vibrations. Going back to Osram or Philips. Avoid this junk.Installed in a 2014 Jeep Cherokee to replace the 6 year old Philips that was getting dim. New Hella HID is much brighter and whiter than the Philips which I like. I prefer a whiter color temp vs a more blue since whiter light is better in the rain to light up road signs and road markings. Install ease is no different than any other HID and the difficulty will depend on your vehicle and how easy they make changing a head light. Due to high voltage with HID I always recommend disconnecting your negative cable on your battery before changing the bulb in the rare case that someone turned on the headlights by unlocking a door etc you don't get shocked or short out your HID ballast.

Like others stated, This bulb failed at 10 months for me.
The lamp looked authentic, but it is garbage. 10 months to failure is completely unacceptable when OEM bulbs last up to 10 years/100,000 miles.I would have to recommend you look somewhere else and don't buy a knockoff no namer, they don't last long either. Find a legit source and buy a brand name lamp. Unfortunately, this should have been both, but it was not.
