Just what I needed and works very well. I thoroughly recommend this tester. Pleased with it.

for quick check very good not so good if you need to know what end has failed so you do not need to redo the wrong end so i use this 1st then higher level tester on failed end ( for speed )

Nice build quality. Very quick to test, gives a clear pass or fail… however it doesn’t give any real information about which line or where in a cable (distance) the fault occurs… however Klein does make devices that can do this at a premium. Sturdy and dependable to test cables prior to deployment though in the field.

As a newby, this seems to be a good purchase

expensive for an extremely basic tester. limited to only certain ethernet cables. not recommended. this brand has reinforced the fact price doesn't necessitate quality.

Excelente funcionamiento y viene con su pila

As a advanced DIY'er building a security camera network, this tool has allowed me to check all my Cat 6 runs and fly leads. The removable remote is nice and small and lightweight. I'm on the fence with the LED; I have a short and all I know it's a short on the cable but I don't know what wire is the issue unlike other tools that do show the status of each of the 8 wires. But the result is the same - I have to chase a 200 foot wire for a problem. Not a cheap tool but a good size for your toolbox and simple to use. I always say you get what you pay for and I'm happy with this gadget.
