Dorable, worth every penny!
My 10 year old son loves this lay and go. Before we had this, he would dump out his legos to build something and they would be all over the room. I would have to ask him to clean them up everyday and it was always a chore. Now with the lay and go, we can spread the legos out and clean them up in seconds.Pros:The 60” has a large diameter to lay legos outIt lays flatThe material is very durableIt can be wiped down easilyThe cord is dorable, locks and has a pocket that the can be placed in for child safetyCons:It can be very heavy “if” filled all the way, but it’s a strong material and can be pulled across the floor. My 10 yr old can carry it over his shoulder, but younger children may struggle if it’s full and need assistance. Just something to keep in mind.

Kid loves and uses it
I used to keep all legos in a big tubberware. This make it so much easier to sort and find pieces and to clean up strays. It’s a great invention

Worth it!
Hesitated because it is a bit pricey. But so glad we bought it. It seems very well constructed and is so handy. As one reviewer noted, this thing is big enough and strong enough to contain more legos than you would care to lug around in it.

Perfect solution to Lego mess
As a mother of three toddlers, I needed something that would help contain the lego mess. Our legos frequently fly across the floor and under the sofa... Or those two you missed during cleanup would end up under my foot in the middle of the night. When I saw this, I was set off by the price. I was tempted to buy a kiddie pool from the dollar store and throw the leggos in there for playtime instead. After our lego boxes started collecting dust (my fault entirely. I was really dreading picking up all the little pieces) I decided this purchase was necessary to save our investment in legos. When you open the box, you get a circular piece of cloth. It's kind of like the material of a jacket. It slides on the hardwood floor-- I just made my kids sit down (repeatedly) -- and reminded them not to run through it like they were splashing through a lego foot bath... But, they loved it. My oldest toddler (2) didn't build so much with this arrangement. He usually builds towers when we're sitting at the table with the legos. He instead participated in moving all the legos all over the place. That being said, he also enjoyed telling me about all the different shapes and colors he was "finding". I'm sure building will resume after the excitement wears off.The bag has a few pockets for "special" pieces. I put the men and woman lego people on one side in separate mesh pockets.. and flowers and gates on the other side in separate mesh pockets. Honestly, this is probably more for me than my kids... at our current age anyway.I saw a few people complaining that the clip on the end breaks. It's the same sort of clip that's on any draw string bag. I'm sure you could replace it if you want to. I would just tie it in a loose knot. It's the pulling of the string itself that makes the bag draw up.Overall, I like this. Cleanup was super fast. It creates a space large enough for all three of my kids to sit in (not that I wanted them to sit inside of it.. it just worked out that way). If we brought this out during a playdate, I'm sure one more kid could squeeze in. Definitely more all around if we used it as a floor "table" instead of a floor mat. I think the material is durable and I'm expecting it to last for awhile.I saw that there were a few mini versions of this. I almost got those instead and I'm glad I didn't. This is perfect for group play.

It's a Sack -- of Awesome
This is so incredibly unbelievably useful, I got this after my son's Lego habit started getting out of control. The concept isn't new, I have a similar, much smaller denim one that Lego made 30+ years ago. But these days the pieces are smaller and there are waaaaay more of them so I needed an equally durable but much bigger mat/bag. This one fit the bill.Ours now holds 10 large sets and an untold number of smaller ones (we're a mix-the-Legos-together family). It doesn't have to be Legos, it can be anything that you just want to push onto the mat and pull the string to clean up when play time is over. It's a pretty big mat (the 5 feet is accurate, the picture makes it seem smaller) so it will hold quite a load of toys. The price is on the high side (and I see it's much higher than we bought ours) but on the pro side, it is very very well made. Ours has survived almost three years' daily service without a problem.

Best product ever!
Best. Buy. Ever. We have a ton of Lego - and I've tried every storage solution possible, from separating different 'types' of bricks (complete failure - way too much work to set up and maintain and my kids didn't have the patience to put stuff away properly), to throwing it in one enormous tub (complete fail - too hard to find stuff and too heavy to lift), and everything in between!I found this playmat online months ago and deluded myself that I would make something similar - that didn't happen so I finally ordered the lay-n-go. And since I tipped our enormous collection of Lego onto this thing, I have not looked back! For starters, it's big enough to take a mountain of Lego and for plenty of kids and adults to sit around at the same time. It's easy to riffle through and find the bits you want, and the mess stays on the mat. The few bits that do fall off are a doddle to chuck back towards the centre, and the packing away takes literally seconds. Finally, and the best bit for me, is that my kids are actually playing with their Lego again - it had become too hard because the amount they have means it was hard to find stuff in deep, heavy tubs! My kids and their friends are now actually sitting around chatting and building stuff together rather than bugging me to allow them to play computer games! Massive win!

Worth every Penny!
My 6 1/2 year old grandson was coming for a visit and I promised to get out his Daddy’s legos. His 16 month old cousin was also visiting at the same time and I knew the small pieces were dangerous for her. The Lay n Go playmate was the perfect solution. He could play for hours, then we’d just use the drawstring to pull together all of the loose pieces! Well designed with special pockets, carrying handle and sturdy drawstring! I highly recommended! So many other uses, too!
