I really like the look of these lights, the small Nickel accent with the Alabaster glass looks really nice and matched well with my ceiling fans. The packaging is a bit on the light side, one of the lights I ordered had a crack on the glass. The unit mounts using the strap and threaded post method, like most smaller light fixtures. You just mount this metal strap to the electrical box with 2 screws and adjust a threaded post in or out until it pokes out through a hole on the metal back of the light fixture. The metal back was well made and sturdy, however the two screws that mount the bulb base protruded out far enough to prevent the unit from laying flush against the wall. There is also a recessed area on the metal plate to allow for the wires to tuck back behind, although it could be a little deeper to help let the wires lay flat and let the fixture sit flush on the wall. The glass just drops in the metal clips, which are installed from the manufacturer. So, the light was really easy to install, after s few minor tweeks (fixed the screws protruding and did my best to lay the wires flat on the backside of the mounting plate). The picture doesn't show it well, but the glass actually sits on an angle, with the bottom touching the wall. Not a huge cosmetic issue, but not what I was expecting. Also, I didn't realize it until I turned the light on, but how the bulb sits in the fixture makes sense when you put it in, but when it's on the bulb is offset to on side. This makes a "hot spot" that is visible, although the diffuser does help some. Overall, I am very happy with the unit, especially when you consider the low cost of the light.

Bought two for a cabin. They look nice for a reasonable price.

Based on the stock photo I purchased these for my home renovation. My renovations fell behind and the contractor just installed these today and they look horrible. They are cheaply made and what appeared to be texture I now see is an actual crack. Also, the light is far off to the left and it looks horrible. With the delays in construction I am now out of luck as it is past the return period. I will now be purchasing a new set since these look terrible!

The fixture installed fine and works like it should. The thing I like most is that the glass is not enclosed, it is about an inch from the wall. This allows light to spread across the wall, providing more light, and it doesn't collect bugs like other enclosed fixtures that I've used.
