Use these clams all the time for sauce, clam chowder, when ever I have a need for clams and I can't get my hands on fresh clams.

Read the label before buying
Years ago, canned clams were packed in clam juice and had that briny taste. Not so anymore. Clams packed in water have no taste. Manufactures now want you to buy the juice separately but it, too, is mixed with water. From now on, will buy whole fresh clams for my Vongole. No stars (wouldn’t let me submit unless I hit at least one star).
