DeSantisDesantis Mini Scabbard

This is a hard shell leather holster that fits my 642 perfectly. It has nice retention but may be a little tight for some people. The adjustment screw works well but I added some more blue loctite after my final adjustment. It conceals well under a untucked shirt.

This is hands down the best holster I have ever purchased! Have tried various models and by various manufacturers many of which are very well known...both leather and kydex. What sets this apart? For one thing the belt just needs to slip between one “stiff” loop. You don’t have to thread your belt thru two different loops and then try to position the holster so if fits between the loops on your pants. This holster is small enough that once you put your belt on it basically it fits wherever you want it. The most important thing IMO is that it holds my Glock 36 snug and high, close to my body. 6’ and 240, and not all muscle so when I put this thing on and wear a average t-shirt you hardly notice anything. Riding in the truck it is super comfortable. I now want to get one for my HKVP9SK but I will have to get it directly from Desantis as Amazon does not carry it. Get this holster you will be glad you did...I know I am!

Fits my "J" frame perfectly after trying 10+ holsters !! Most are loose or lack rigidity to keep it tight against the body, this fits and feels perfect. Nice quality leather with adjustable tension so it slides as easy or hard as you want .

This holster is absolutely great with one minor caveat. It is top notch craftsmanship, fits the P365 perfectly and is comfortable to wear holding the gun snugly against your side. The one area that needs a little improvement is that you can’t take a full proper grip on the gun when it is holstered because there isn’t enough clearance for your fingers. I’d put it at about 85% of a full grip. I love the holster and it is my daily carry.

I ordered the Desantis Mini Scabbart a Holster for my S&W Shield for concealed carry. It is the perfect OWB holster for the Shield. My Shield fits perfectly and required minimum break in. The leather is perfect and looks great. The holster opening is stiff enough to return your pistol to the holster with no problems. I like it so much I ordered a IWB Desantis holster for my Shield for concealed carry. Again the leather is perfect and facilitates the return of the pistol to the holster after draw. Desantis makes a great holster at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend then for any type of holster. They make a quality product. I highly recommend them!

I’ve been searching for a well made, minimalist holster for my SP101 revolver. I believe this could be it. Well made. Small for OWB concealment and good tension so the gun doesn’t fall out. All this at an affordable price.

Very satisfied with this product. Perfect fit for my S&W J-Frame and can be adjusted for more or less snugness around the gun. This is a simple one-screw process and instructions are provided. Like all holsters of this type it's best if worn with a decent belt. I like the Main Street Forge all leather belt because its strong enough to hold the holster close to one's body, it looks good as an everyday belt, it's a good value, and it's made in USA. One more thing: if you browse Amazon for this holster, you may find that the image in the browser doesn't match the description - at least that was the case when I was shopping - but the description proved to be correct even though the image was wrong.
