I write documents that require sophisticated headings and page numbering, indexing and excellent spelling and grammar capabilities, importing date and graphic from other applications. At the same time I will avoid the cloud and ridiculous subscription fees, i.e., Microsoft as much as possible. I was unable to install my office 10 in my new computer. Over the past year I have tried all the Ms Office alternatives and found them to be quite adequate alternatives if you do not need sophisticated editing and formatting. Each has pluses and each has minuses but none are as complete as MS Office 10. Eventually I reverted to and old copy of Office 2003. I finally purchased office 2021 and Apache at the same time. After using Office 2021 for 20 minutes, I gave up frustrated and returned to Office 2003. MS has stripped many feature from the products that do not use the cloud so we are forced into their money pit. (And it will not auto save except to your cloud account!) Then I remembered Apache. What a difference. The interface is elegant and easy to use. It has all the feature I need and far more than MS 2021. Apache is way ahead of 2021; it does everything the MS product does but easier and does more. The Help is an integral part of the program, no need to be referred to the user internet support group as with MS. It is in fact a complete user manual. For 20 buck it is worth the try and you will be surprised.

This is the worst software program I have ever purchased and I am 74 years old. Does not work. Always NOT RESPONDING

Could not load program from USB. Ended up downloading from vendor. No problems after that and seems to work fine. Download was easy.

This product worked as advertised on Amazon. Was very pleased with the ease to download, set up and use this alternative to MS Office at a price I could afford. It is a great buy for the price.

Installation was simple and quick. Works well. Great price. Much better than paying expensive annual renewal for MS.

The spreadsheet will not SUM a column exported from my checking account. It is something to do with the exported spreadsheet. The currency values opened in Open Office have a ' before them like '$10.95. Maybe this ' is causing my issue. I can't use this software for what I wanted it for. I enter a function in F161 as "=SUM(F3:F160)" and I get $0.00. F3 to F160 have currency numbers. With my old MS Office 2016 this function would work. I will have to buy a new MS Office just for this.

Excellent Replacement of Microsoft Office which is greatly Over Priced in my opinion. I use excel with macro codes. Importing Excel and Word Documents into Office Suite is seamless. Great Value for the Money. Software Quality is very good.
