came greasy and everytime i turn makes this horrible metal noise like its about to break anytime

My children spend time watching people solving puzzle cubes etc on the internet, so I thought they may as well do something a little active and try the puzzles themselves. There are loads of makes, shapes and sizes, not all are the famous Rubix's cube. The reason that the cube persists is that it makes sense as a puzzle and they are very well made. This cannot not be said of some of the variations.'JQGO Pyramid Cube 3x3' is a great example of a rival that also does an excellent job. I was unsure at first if a triangle would work, but it does. The name of the game is still to have matching sides, but the shape makes moving a different beast. The reason that this triangle works so well is the smoothness of the moves. There is no catching as you turn the pieces. My puzzle minded child is enjoying playing with it and it acts as a type of fidget toy and keeps their hands busy.

This throws me back to my childhood when the Rubik's Cube was popular. I could never solve it and ended up moving the coloured stickers to 'solve' it. I don't think that this is really as much of an option with this puzzle, due to the intriguing pyramid shape made up of 9 triangles per side. But, just like the Rubik's Cube, once you've muddled it up then it is impossible to un-muddle unless you are one of those people who can, which I am not; it does come with a small instruction manual suggesting how you can solve the puzzle. However, it is great fun to play with and has a nice smooth motion when it moves, turns and swivels. A great toy for a teenager -- I'm going to give the muddled puzzle to my nephew to fidget with and hopefully solve. £8.99 (at time of review) seems a fairly reasonable price for this type of puzzle. I am happy to recommend.

I was a child when the original cube went on sale and over the years I have had 2 or 3 and never mastered it.The last time I had one, my daughters were small and it was too grown up for them, but I jumped at the chance to try this puzzle now they are grown up and its keeping us all busy!It comes in cardboard packaging and the triangle is fully completed when it arrives, until you first use it! My daughters have both spent hours trying to complete it with no luck so far! There are you tube videos to help if you have the time and patience to do it!Its good quality and reasonably priced, so overall we would recommend it!

You like puzzles?This us the JQGO Pyramid Cube 3 x 3, 4 coloured edges green, blue, green and yellow.If you had a Rubiks Cube in the 80s then this won't be unfamiliar, it is like that but half...It is great fun trying to solve again after mixing up, you need to make all sides the same colour. It can be frustrating but it is so satisfying and the mechanism is so smooth.This is a great puzzle toy and for the price you are paying it is great value for money.I fully recommend it, as it makes a good de-stresser during this very strange times.
