This brand is GREAT for "problem cats"!
I just bought this in a spray, because I'll be driving my cats across the country in my van, from California to Ohio- and my cats aren't used to traveling. Who knows what they will do- but the plug-in version worked so well, I had to have something for the van. I have a boy cat who used to be bullied mercilessly by another of my cats years ago, and as a result, he got into the nervous habit of "spraying", or "marking" certain areas, I guess due to stress. He's fixed, but that doesn't help. He hasn't done it much since the other kitty died, but cats hate chaos and messiness, and right now I'm in the middle of moving, so I was worried. I've been using the plug-in for a month. It makes all 3 kitties so calm & relaxed when they are in the boxed chaos that used to be our living room! No spraying on anything the entire month! I will want to have one in every room they are allowed in after I move! I wish they made a USB or lighter-socket version for vehicles! The scent is something only felines can smell (unlike the pee Will Feral used to spray... that's him in the white box next to the plug-in- he was sleeping peacefully but as I took the pic, he was getting up for a pet!I wish I'd have known about this stuff years ago! I see they have calming treats too, so that will be my next order. My daughter says they work!

Helps calm my nervous kitty at the vet!
This Feliway spray has been a miracle for us! One of my cats really hates the vet. The last vet we had labeled her as a bite/scratch case in their records. She would growl and hiss if anyone tried to touch her. I've had her since she was a kitten and she is always super sweet with me (she's snuggling with me as I type this) so we just chalked it up to her not liking strangers. I want her to be healthy and get her checkups but I also don't want to overly stress her out, so I tried soaking her carrier (a soft sided carrier with a fuzzy insert and blanket) with Feliway spray to see if it would help.HELP, INDEED.When I first used this tactic in 2019, the vet was able to get bloodwork from her but eventually the spray wore off when she was out of her carrier and she got upset. We put her back in the carrier while we chatted, and then she actually let me take her out and the vet was able to touch. her. belly. to examine a lump that I was concerned about. Unheard of for this cat to show her belly let alone be touched on her belly at the vet without any kind of reaction. Most recently, we went in for a skin issue to a new vet. In COVID times they aren't allowing owners with the pet in the exam room so I was especially nervous that she would lose it without knowing where I was. I soaked the carrier, insert, and blanket again and the vet said she was great!I feel bad seemingly drugging my cat but I think we are all better off if she has good vet visits. I think it's better than not taking her at all. This product is a lifesaver!

WORKS WONDERS!
I am currently integrating (2) 7 months old kittens with (2) 18 months old cats. Today was the first day where I didn’t have the spray so there was a lot of tension and aggression. The minute I sprayed this all throughout my house, everyone became calm and the aggression eased up. The only thing that I dislike about this is that you have to spray it every few hours which results in it finishing faster. For the price, I think they should make a bigger bottle.

Spray an area to test before spraying your cats bedding.
This was recommended by my vet, to calm my pet, I sprayed it on my cats bedding, hoping that it would calm her down. She took one sniff and has not gotten back on her bed. I sprayed it on several places that she slept, and she has not returned to those places to sleep Since. It is a deterrent for sure and works well in that regard. I didn’t realize that this was a deterrent. I thought it was to calm. I’m sad now that I sprayed it on her bedding because she won’t return to it.

Allow 5 minutes of quiet first and it WILL work!
For those saying it doesn't work, they have to smell it for about 5 minutes before it works! I have a skittish cat that I was expecting to destroy the vet with her calls. They sprayed it on the towel in her crate and on my sweatshirt. Within 5 mins she walked out of her crate purring. I held her while they cleaned her ears and gave her shots. Was a perfect angel. We also have a long haired cat who is matted and needed shaved. Sprayed this on a towel in a quiet area, waited 5 minutes and began shaving. He laid there purring and enjoying the rubs of the electric shaver. I reapplied to the towel and my shirt about 10 minutes in to keep it going. This stuff is amazing!Effectiveness:Very effective!!

⚠️Caused Severe Allergic Reaction in HUMAN⚠️
As recommended by my veterinarian, I purchased the Feliway for my cat to calm him during an 18 hour car ride. I sprayed one spray into his carrier 1 hour prior to leaving on our trip. The instructions read that it wears off in 5 hours. We began our trip without incident. We were about 12 hours into our trip when it was my turn to get our cat out of his carrier and offer him food, water and his litter box. I had him out for about 15 minutes holding and petting him. I felt a little weird but just thought I was tired from the drive. I put him back into his carrier and we got back on the road. Thankfully, I was not driving at the time. Ten minutes later my tongue and lips began to tingle and swell, my throat felt as if it were narrowing, I began to cough like I had just inhaled some hay particles and was randomly nodding off. If it would have gotten any worse I would have had to find the nearest ER. These symptoms ever so slowly subsided but in all, lasted 8 hours! The description, packaging, insert and bottle all read that the product does not effect humans. I am 100 percent sure this is what caused my reaction as I am 34 years old with no record of allergies and I couldn't pet my cat for a week without having a reaction, more mild than the first exposure. He was given a thorough bath and his carrier scrubbed. I haven't had an issue since.
