I never write reviews but this one I absolutely have to write about so I hope people looking at this product will feel safe to buy it. The mask for the most part is one size fits all, the elastic strap on the back can be adjusted relatively easily but when its brand new, its extremely tight. As far as features go the quality of it is amazing! The front face has a suprisingly high resolution for what this product actually is, just don't expect 4K quality or even 720p for that matter. Through the app you can upload any image you want and the app will automatically adjust the image to preview what it'll look like on the front face, obviously the resolution will go down. But if youre using this as part of a costume not really noticable. The negatives; the instructions in the fold out isn't really accurate. In order to connect you need to connect locally from your phone first; so find the mask on your phones bluetooth settings. Connect to it; it might take a little bit. While thats happening return to the app and search for the device on it. It'll appear with a toggle switch to connect. As someone else mentioned already, visibility is pretty bad. Like your vision is pretty much just a tunnel of whats ahead of you. But again this is supposed to be a prop nothing more. Battery: I bought the rechargable one. In testing the claim for how long it lasts is pretty accurate (Static image) unless you use the other features like motion detection and stuff. BUT the rechargable batter is sort of just jerry rigged into the battery slot. Kind of dangerous if kids try to pull at it. But any functional adult wouldn't run into problems with this. Charges with USB-C!

I was skeptical about ordering this item but once my grandson opened the box he was glowing with happiness. We all sat around watching the many different looks on the mask. Great choice and we highly recommend this item

Got the battery mask since others have complained about the charging one not working. Looks really cool, not the most comfortable but it feels okay overall, feels like having swim goggles on but without the water tight suction to the face. The lights are bright in person and you can adjust the brightness on the app, meaning it can function in the dark and sunlight just fine. The app is pretty straight forward, and is pretty fun. The pixels are okay, they can't do any fine line work but overall the get the image across, so super cool. I suggest that when uploading your own photos to be on the mask that u pic the simplest design and one that is more vertical than horizontal since it'll need to fit on a face shape. Eye holes are small so you'll end up probably with better posture by the end of wearing it, since you'll be forced to look ahead most of the time lol Planning on using this for a Vox cosplay from hazbin so hopefully it continues to work lol. Will keep updated if it breaks, but I'm dumb so it'll take a little time to figure out of its user error or a design error.

We used this mask with several custom images uploaded via the app during a concert, and it lasted almost 9hrs. It was still images, no flashing or text. We successfully added 20 custom images in the app, but noticed that every time we turned on the mask and connected the mask to the app, 1/20 of the images would not work. The fix for this was to delete the image in question and reupload it. This constantly happened at every boot up, and it was always a random image. Not a deal breaker though, as it's not difficult to delete and reupload. The app was not hard to navigate. We tested for several days before taking it to the concert. During those days I noticed that every now and then, the app would disconnect from the mask, but it didn't affect the image already displayed. Once the app reconnected, the mask needed a restart if you wanted to change the already displayed image, since it wouldn't communicate with the app despite claiming to be reconnected. It wasn't frequent enough to really be an annoyance, but I wanted to mention in case anyone has this troubleshoot issue. This takes a very long time to charge, even on a fast charger. Way longer to charge than a standard smart phone that lasts 8+hrs. I think it was close to 4hrs from completely dead to 100% but I am not exactly sure on that time frame I attempted to use a portable anker battery on this at the concert when the battery finally died. I was not successful in getting it to stay on while it was charging - I didn't dabble too much but it seems that you can't charge and use this at the same time, you can only do one or the other. Comfort wise, this was extremely painful on the bridge of my nose, but was easily remedied with a padded band aid on the contact point prior to use. Visibility is limited which is probably a given, with zero peripheral vision. The velcro head strap is adjustable to be smaller and larger. This was a definite hit at the concert, and there's no image burn or dead pixels after the extensive use. If I can remember to come back here in a year and update, I'll definitely do that. Overall, the app connectivity and the need for a band aid on my nose are really the only complaints. I'd consider the band aid a non issue though since this mask covers my face anyways, and the app connection really wasn't a bother since I wasn't changing faces anyways. I decided on this specific mask based on YouTube videos of this exact megoo led mask. I did not get the one with video capability, so I can't add any feedback on video features. But definitely look up some YouTube videos of "megoo led mask" for some cool demos.

Addendum: So my first mask was defective, but I had liked what I'd seen when it was working (SEE review below. And returning it was quite easy using the Kohl's return drop off location less than a minute to accomplish). The replacement mask works like a charm. The graphics are nice and you can upload your own pics too, but it already comes with a large selection of graphics pre-programmed into it. The Bluetooth controls work, but you can also toggle to different graphics using a button on top of the mask in case you rather not, connect it to your phone. This is nice because you don't need a cell phone to enjoy its features. It's really easy to use. Hopefully I get to use this mask at a fest or event soon! Also the company reached out after seeing my review to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. That's good customer service right there! Only had turned on for about 30 minutes while i was figuring out the controls and setting up preferences, and it shut off by itself. And i wasn't able to turn it back on again. This was the first time i tried to use it and after an overnight charge. So far the onlt nice thing was the easy return at Kohls return site. I re-ordered this product again bc it was cool for the short time it was working. And pretty comfortable, and no peripheral vision, of course. Mask is far enough from face to wear a surgical mask comfortably under the LED mask and light weight. The Company that provides this item says "the contact them for help" (paraphrasing), but there's no contact info written on this Amazon advert nor on the box, nor in the instructions it comes with. This is the chargeable LED mask. I can't say if it'll heat up after long term use bc it broke so fast, but im willing to give it other shot. Hopefully the next one won't break so easily and fast. (Actually it breaking so soon is preferable bc its easier to return lol)

....or less. The eye holes, it would of been better just cutting a hole in the plastic. After 5min u won't be able to see, even less if u sweat allot. U will have to reset your entire phone multiple times to get it to connect, powering off the mask does nothing. U can upload your own photos but u can only do 20 BUT when u connect it tells u there's already 14 but the gallery is empty. Once you're able to upload a photo it looks cool on the screen BUT if your phone disconnects it will be gone when u reconnect. It's USB C but won't charge when connecting to my phones fast charger. Is it worth it at full price NO, it is worth getting it on 👌deals 👌 yes. Mine was $15 off but all together it's average.

Although I purchased this mask several years ago, I wanted to share my experience. The mask itself is exactly as advertised; it works great with the app, creating faces and letting the user design their own. The mask fits well, but not over glasses. It tends to fog up, but that is common. I used the mask at a friend's spooky wedding and wore it for a couple of Halloween events. The reason for my late review is that I put the mask away for more than a year, and the battery inside bloated to a dangerous level. Thinking the mask was useless, I was going to purchase another one, but before I did, I took the mask apart and removed the battery. Then, using the battery information, I found replacements on Amazon that matched it and purchased them. The new battery fits perfectly, and now my mask is new again. So if you have purchased this product and found your battery dangerously bloated, you can replace it. This was so much fun! I first saw it on a youth and bought because I love gadgets. It is best seen from a distance. It has an app and can be controlled with a smartphone.
