What a sweet licorice surprise!
I've never been a licorice fan. However, I wanted to try a licorice mint as a digestive aid, and struggled to find a mint that was not made as a sugary candy but also one that contained real licorice. Meltzer's Puremints Licorice seemed to match my requirements, and the reviews promoted it. I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't have an overpowering licorice taste, but just enough to make this mint a very enjoyable experience--and it's very good as a digestive aid. The tin is durable, almost the same size as an Altoid's tin, and equally reusable. I highly recommend.

Really helps with difestion
Great product to carry in my purse for a quick calming of my stomach when needed. Really works well and fast.

Not as good as Altoids Licorice, but they are OK.
I bought these as a replacement for Altoids Licorice because they no longer make them. Considering that there aren't many alternatives, they are OK, but they have a bit of a strange taste in addition to the licorice flavor. i can't really tell what it is. They are definitely not as good as Altoids. The price was average compared to similar products.

I'm not a licorice fan but this is the perfect blending of ingredients.
I read about the goodness of the ingredients in this candy and tried it and it is a unique flavor that I found I like and enjoy. I'm glad to see that Amazon sells it as it's hard to find elsewhere! Try it and you'll like it too! I found it for 1/2 the cost of here (including shipping) at Licorice World in Nebraska! ) These really do the things they mention! THEY Taste good too!

Pure mints is the name not type of candy.
When I ordered I thought I was ordering peppermints as I had prior. Was I surprised I had to wait for delivery only to discover it was not peppermint but the most disgusting licorice I ever tasted. I love black licorice but this is not a good taste. Sorry.
