ASUS Laptop LCD Screen U57A 15.6" WXGA HD

2 weeks since I replaced it and haven't had any problems yet. Pretty easy install, some of the side screws can be tricky but easy to follow an online tutorial for anyone looking to do the install themselves. There is no difference once the computer is on and running, but I did notice that it takes a little longer for the display to kick on during startup. There might be an easy way to resolve this like installing a specific driver but I haven't looked at it because it doesn't bother me that much (adds maybe 30 - 45 seconds to the startup only when powering on).Also, maybe it was because my old screen was old, but the new screen seems much brighter than my old one before it cracked.

Was very excited to find the replacement screen on amazon, but hesitated to order because of the number of reviews. I decided to take the chance and am very happy that I did! The screen got delivered in a timely manner, packaged very well with bubble wrap. I used this tutorial on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmJc6vN8d_Q and replaced my laptop screen in about 15 minutes! The screen works great, very bright and no dead pixels. Would recommend.
